Surprised a thread doesn't exist for this game yet. I hope it's okay if this is my first post - I finished making an any% TAS and figured I should drop some info here in case anyone wants to improve on my run in the future.
    > The first frame that allows you to select Shroom City from the main menu is slower than the frame that follows it - former skips a small animation, latter skips a bunch of text. > Dice blocks cycle every 4 frames, and the number you get will match the number on it when it is hit. > Text boxes with choices don't accept inputs until 6 frames after they appear. > Check all dialogue choices. Wasting a frame or two to make a different choice is faster in some cases (less text in following dialogue). > Some quests don't require you to actually do what they ask (eg there's a quest that asks you to find clues in Thwomp's house but you can just back out immediately). > Melon Folly and Flippin' Out are the fastest minigames. > Special minigames will follow a distinct pattern (one pattern is one every other frame for 9 frames, then a 28 frame gap with none). > You can manipulate enemy behaviour in duel minigames through specific movements.
I can get into more specifics if anyone shows interest.

TAS is done, yeah. Here's the link (encode is low quality - just for submission purposes): Link to video

Can you provide your movie file, or do you intend on submitting this anyway?

I tried to submit it a couple times but the submission form doesn't seem to like me.

If you're submitting, do what it says and put it in a zip folder.

Use userfiles to upload it if you can't submit for now.

SORRY, I did a dumb. I was putting the tasproj file in the ZIP folder instead of the bk2 file. It hit me as soon as I clicked the userfiles link. 100% my fault.

After seeing this publication [4377] GBC Winnie the Pooh: Adventures in the 100 Acre Wood "100%" by Winslinator in 17:40.63, would that mean that a 100% TAS of this game wouldn't make a category of its own? For a good part of the time the TAS would look like any% as it is mandatory to complete all missions but the differences would be:
Play all the mini-games at least once Visit all the characters Collect all Gaddgets (even those from other game modes)
I've planned things out a bit and maybe I'll even try TAS this category. Would a 100% category make Nacho's Any% obsolete ?

I started making TAS about this game recently. Over several mini Bowser encounters, the one shown in this image warps to a location that benefits Mario by moving near the Jungle Area place. It was warping into a somewhat helpful location once I completed the 38th quest out of 50, it also saves time. I rolled a dice that landed on an 8 at 1:14:48.60, and mini Bowser shows up at 1:14:49.47 (frames 268093 to 268145).
Planned runs: Marble Madness (Arcade, Genesis J, GG/SMS) Proposed: Ecco the Dolphin (Genesis, GG/SMS, CD: regular, camera freeze) Ecco: The Tides of Time (Genesis, GG/SMS, CD; normal mode) Mario Kart DS (all cups, all missions) In progress: Grand Poo World 3 (all exits hard mode)
