I created the .dtm when a GC controller was plugged in. If you play my .dtm, a Fatal Desync massage appears. You have to ignore this massage and play input recording again.
I think SD card is necessary for verification movie.
TASing is like making a film: only the best takes are shown in the final movie.
Do you mean "message"? Massage is totally different.
It looks like a window when you get an error or something is missing. I can't provide the screenshot of it because I'm far away from my home now. Although it's unnecessary IMO.

Daaaaaamn! I have just finished the chapter 2-2 and was going to record my progress, but I got a desync in the 1-2. How that could be? After I completed the chapter 1-3 and rewatched the movie, everything was OK. I didn't change any settings!
Can somebody view my file? ROM link is in the description of this video:

Recorded with Dolphin 4.0-8311 http://dl.dolphin-emu.org/builds/dolphin-master-4.0-8311-x64.7z
SD-card must be inserted. Ignore the fatal desync massage! Thanks!

Even if you unlocked it, If you can't sync a verification movie now, how would you expect a TAS of this game for the wii to sync? :|
What do you mean? It's better for me to just give up?
Not give up everything, but report a bug on the dolphin bug tracker and wait (years) for it to get fixed (eventually).
Or you can edit the source code if you know how, but that's not trivial.
That won't do! I'd better TAS what I want using custom memory card from there and than wait (years) until somebody make a VM for mе or until I come up with a good mood to make it myself.

There is a Dolphin issue #8967 regarding inability to start .dtm with a memory card save on Wii. I would not recommend making a TAS and then a verification movie later. I found that in my Mercenaries run no gamefaqs savestates would sync to my .dtm file (which came off my own GC card). The verification I made did sync (fortunately). Therefore "something" in the memory card file impacts syncing, and verification made later may or may not sync.

Yeah... thanks for the tip! I noticed that. That's why I started the recording after Wii had checked the memory system. Yeah... then I had built planes on TASing Assignment Ada and Separate Ways with a custom memory card and then verify it somehow, but, fortunately, gave up!
For those who is still interested in RE4, here is my fun made TAS:

"Started the recording after Wii had checked the memory system"? Is that supposed to mean that you started recording from a savestate instead of from power-on?

That's right! It is a fun-made TAS anyway. There I play on my own rules.

I'm going to assume you used the GC controller or Classic Controller, correct? I've been debating making one of these for fun but there's no way in hell I'm going to deal with the Wiimote and Nunchuk.
Enter the Matrix is a piece of garbage but I'm gonna finish it if it kills me.

I can scare you, but I used exactly Wiimote and Nunchuk!

This has nothing to do with the TAS, but does anyone know the drop rate for the 19,000 pesetas? Gamefaq claims max cash is 99,999,999, so I was wondering how feasible it is to get every drop as 19,000 pesetas.

While playing RE4 and RE4 UHD, I've tried lots of trainers. Trainer is a program which changes values of useful RAM addresses by pressing hot keys (it's some kind of cheating, like changing values in Cheat Engine or Artmoney).
They contain lots of addresses, some of them are displayed on the screen (like framerate), but nothing of them has ability to make specific drops from kills or make every enemy to drop a random item or sth else. I'm afraid, but finding addresses that are responsible for dropping is so difficult for an ordinary user of CE or trainer maker.
Even if we find any address, mentioned upper, we will spend hours manipulating this to happen. I think SoulCal had spent lots of time on things like that, but still got worse PTAS drops.
Also lots of OoBs have been found so far and now you need to kill less enemies, so it's gonna be more difficult to get this result when handgranades aren't really needed.
It's enough now. "I should stop philosophing, but I Kant." @feos

I was thinking more of a "normal" emulated play-through with savestate usage.
Was asking about drop rate, since if say, it's 1/60,000 (example) it would be rather painful to test 60,000 frames every single enemy than say a much lower drop rate of 1/100 (another example droprate).
Also are there any "maps" of this game with every item location (including OoB items)?
So I am down to last stage of Mercenaries: the Base. I don't want to use the NTSC GC version since it only has 101 enemies. The NTSC Wii version (RB4E08) has 117 enemies. This requires a new verification movie to unlock Mercenaries and Wesker. I tried making a verification movie, with the dual purpose of making it suitable for a New Game+. I had over 500,000 pesetas before the cabin fight and decided to see if the movie would play through. It desynced just before finding Luis, when I had about 100,000 pesetas. I tried playing again continuing from that point, and again got desync a few minutes later. I tried getting through the main game a couple years ago with similar result, it seems Dolphin is just not up to TASing the Wii version. I have only wiimote+classic controller (can't use only GC controller due to needing Wiimote to get past first screen), no memcard, dualcore off on Dolphin 5.0-10833. I may just longplay it with no savestates just to get the unlocks without trying for New Game+, but it may have the same desync trouble when I attempt Base TAS. Any suggestions?

I doubt you will have positive results. I faced the same problem when Dolphin 4.0 was up-to-date, but nothing has been changed since then and the problem still remains. The only way to make a verification movie is to assume that judges would accept a long video (maybe, a stream) of you beating the game from start to finish. You'd better ask them about it.
