I've been a lurker on this site for about a year now. The reason I haven't started posting was because of the tough schedule I had in college. Anyways, I just felt like saying this is about one friendliest forums I've been around. Just wanted to thank Bisqwit and the TAS guys for making games fun to watch and play. :)

That's hardly a rant. Try swearing more and talking about how the man is keeping you down.

The man is trying to keep the white man down, seriously. Its so hard to go through life as a male caucasion Edit: I forgot to swear. Shit.
Do not try to bend the spoon, that's impossible. Instead only try to realize the truth. What Truth? There is nospoon. Then you will see it is not the spoon that changes, it is only yourself

I agree. This forum seems much better than the first forum I joined, High Impact Halo (http://ducain.org/hihforum/index.php). It's not that the whole HIH forum is bad; the administrators are doing their best to keep order throughout the forum. It's just that when you have 100 youngsters join a forum every day, nothing good can come out of that. Combine that with an overall increasing loss of respect and you know what happens. Besides, I prefer light backgrounds over dark. May the nesvideos forum never look like this: http://ducain.org/hihforum/viewforum.php?f=3&topicdays=0&start=80 http://ducain.org/hihforum/viewforum.php?f=18&topicdays=0&start=40

I have to say, this is far and away the best video game forum I've ever been on. Much thanks, everyone. -Josh

Thanks for your kind words. As a member of the moderation team, I take a lot of pride in our harmonious atmosphere. Not that I don't love editing other people's posts but I prefer peace and quiet to shouting and flaming. Despite the fact that the forums have grown a lot, I'm happy to see that there have been very few rivalries/troublemakers. Indeed, usually the only problems have just been annoying people who eventually got bored and left (sometimes with a little encouragement ^_^).

Heard and agreed. This is indeed a nice atmosphere.

I love it here, but I don't really feel too useful other than giving hints and stuff to random games, and I don't really do any TAS's or anything. However, I guess maybe some of my creditentials lie in the fact I've submitted a buttload of things to David Wonn's site, and my Game Genie Code Oddities site that I re-made and ran from 2000-2002. =D Nonetheless, this is one of my favorite places on the internet, period. Glitch discussion is always rampant, and I absolutely LOVE glitches since the first day I stumbled onto David Wonn's site back in middle school. Boy, that was like candy for my gaming mouth. And all this talk here about glitches and how games are programmed just makes me feel that much smarter when I'm talking about games and stuff. Thank you guys!
