Full game completion of GnG.
  • The 1st half is 6 seconds faster than Arcs
  • Manipulates Luck
  • Aims for fastest time

This run takes Arcs route because it is the fastest one at the moment. I tried some damage boosts on places but no luck. Enjoy!
On stage 2 I dont wait for the elevators, I merely let them go off screen for a split second then they go back down.
The next noticable differance is on stage 4, I take damage on the dragon and kill it at the same time rather than let him float around and take charge.
On the 2nd quest, I pick up the dagger to throw faster, the Javelin takes too long to throw 2 at a time.
The 3rd stage on the 2nd quest is done extremely faster than the 2nd because of the dagger and also the enemy stays low to the ground to kill easy.
The rest is pretty much the same as the 1st quest except for boss movements because they are technically "advanced"

The problem with the Ghost n' Goblins series is that it always makes the player beat the game twice, without any change at all in the game the second time around. No change in difficulty, no new enemies, no nothing. It's just Capcom sucking the soul from the player by forcing them to play their irritating game all over again.

Hahaha... It won't be me! Each GnG game is nine minutes long, so I can see how people would be able to sit through it twice. But Astro Boy is a half-hour, and unless someone can miraculously find a way to make it more interesting the second time, I don't see anyone putting up with it.

If the goal of doing the second quest is only having an ending, NO, I am voting NO. Then if it is published as it is, then all movies of games with 2nd quest such as Castlevania must be removed since THEIR seconds quest is more interesting than the one in GnG. What about SMB last quest instead?

I can say that for sure the difficulty is greatly increased in this version of the game the second time around. Ask anyone who's played it on a console. Also, I myself was dissapointed with other runs of this game only completing the first quest. If to complete the game you must do both quests than that is what must be done.

I still think that Arc and my run should be counted as different. Kind of like warpless non warpless (except there are no warps). But I'm not a moderator or opinionator of this site so I guess these words I am writing right now are pretty much useless and a matter of personal opinion. Haha, btw, has the idea of having a SPELL CHECK by the (Preview) and (Submit) buttons ever been brought up? I know that you should already know how to spell words and such but for people that rush through these, it could help a little and not give people the advance start in the you spelled "the" wrong. hmmmmm. Well ill be back at my normal computer soon. ttyl
