This was very good. At 8:56 it seems your Akuma is missing a fireball : is it intentional ? The constant teleporting against Blanka was fun and some combos were dreadful (Ryu). The restless style againt Zangieff looked great. The waiting againt Chun Li was a bit boring. Also, there were too many throws overall, especially against Gouki. I enjoyed the video. Nice work SDR.

One thing I thought was weird is that despite being an arcade release from Asia, it uses the US naming style for Balrog, Vega, and M.Bison. Huh.
Taking over the world, one game at a time. Currently TASing: Nothing

Heres a crappy attempt at trying to create a fighting TAS. It only shows 1 round with Zangief and it uses Ryu. It uses the Japanese version because its slitghtly faster. http://www.mediafire.com/?odruw5wfcy8ep5x I hope people will use this version to obsolete the two SNES Street Fighter movies published, as this has many oppurtunities to be entertaining.

I recently compiled all a list of all the sf2 glitches I could find http://combovid.com/?p=1450 The only one that seems relevant to a single player tas would be Zangief Magic Reversal, possible on the world version of hsf. jump-canceling light attacks is super easy and works in all versions, and keep in mind you can cancel some air attacks into hurricane kick. Of course CPS-1 chains are possible in hsf if you pick an older version. keep in mind that turbo 4 skips a frame about every other frame, and this can make it so you need to delay the start of some combos to make it work. Some combos won't work at all if they have a few 1 frame links. check out here for more info http://sonichurricane.com/?p=1864

In this case the best option of fighter is Gouki because with him you can to do many combos ( using the Zankuu Hadouken) & juggles...anyway he has lot of variety.. Ryu has good juggles( MP in the Air) and nice combos( for exemple: to combine punches or kicks after the SUPER, of course this is close to your opponent ) ...but not enough as Gouki, even it has not super bar negative point about this game:( In my opnion) HSF2 or SSFT2X, it would possible more combo, if there weren't a large displacement of the opponent to the get a hit.. In the Super Street Fighter 2 The new challengers( arcade or SNES)this not happens .. but I prefer the SNES version because it is faster than Arcade version Do you need help? HSF2 & SSfT2X : playing as Gouki I tried once .. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2WVtUtgchts leandroff5sfz3 tried 4 times to try to get to the end of things possible with this fighter 1 ( most viewed ) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9yOA_CPCB-E&feature=related 2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hsSSaRB5wXM&feature=related 3 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G-bWZez-9Cw&feature=related 4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EFzKu-e5JK4&feature=related

Its all nice to see all this info, but I dont think a run consisting of combos will be entertaining. Its nice to see a mix of sorts (combos + glitching + 2p action). Also, I also think that using Goukat would be rather pointless because it wouldnt show off the other chaaracters combos. However, if you have any free time, could you take a shot at this. You and leandroff5sfz3 are indeed the Fighting TASers! :)

I think the main reason no one has submitted one is because fighting games normally are a poor game choice. leandroff5sfz3's are certainly better then what we have now, he should try submitting

So anyone up for the task at making an ultra SFII playaround? Im really hoping that one could be made someday.

Actually, it would be interesting to find the fastest time to KO a fight for every fighting game. So the TAS would only show one round, no restriction on character. For example, I reckon a MSH one would show Juggernaut with Power up and Power Gem doing a Headcrush.

it's not very interesting for most fighting games. it's why fighting game tases never go for pure speed

Way to necro! But why always use the SUPERT PL.TYPE? I want to see some CPS1 Chains against those cheating Super Turbo...

Link to video Some new stuff using the old characters, Guile champion edition is good than Guile SuperT. Sonic booms and can be done around 4 times abusing the power of frame-advanced.

Very nice TAS. Champion Edition Guile, M. Bison(Dictator), Balrog(Boxer) have some interesting things they can combo from or into that their SSF2T and even Hyper Fighting versions cannot.
