Hi, I was checking if lsnes rr2-β22 was able to run a MSU-1 version of BS Zelda Map 1 and I noticed a weird behavior. First, this is super minor, but for some reason I had to include the ROM file extension to the MSU and PCM files in my directory, but not the XML file. (ex.: 0e14.smc-2.pcm) I didn't have to do that under bsnes v070. Once I figured that out thanks to lsnes's console log, I was able to play the game fine, but I noticed in the log in that in addition to the correct PCMs labeled 1 through 6, lsnes was also trying to load bad PCMs labeled 0, 257, 514 and 1542. According to the hack author this is an emulator bug, so I wanted to report it. Let me know if you need further information.

AFAIK, Ilari doesn't use this forum anymore. Try to contact him using IRC, that he is online regularly.

Thanks for the info! I don't have time to chat though. I'll send him a PM and hopefully he'll see it.

For the record, I just figured out that lsnes assumes that the ROM filename must have the SFC extension when playing MSU1 games. Once I did that, I no longer needed to rename all of my other files. As for the bad PCM tracks, Ilari told me that he thought he fixed the bug but didn't,so hopefully it's going to be fixed in the next release. :)

Tried to load Super Mario Kart, but it's stuck on the Nintendo logo. Originally you didn't need firmwares to run certain games, but now you do. CX4, DSP1, DSP1b, DSP2, DSP3, DSP4, MSU1, ST010, ST011, ST018. Copy the firmwares from BizHawk to lsnes and the games will load. Star Fox booted up without any problems. Where can we find the MSU1 firmware?
