Kirby and the Amazing Mirror: Although an interesting run in its own right (especially 100%), it would be kinda cool if it took advantage of the multiplayer and showed each Kirby's progress (a la DeHackEd's MMX & X2 run).
Advance Guardian Heroes: Would make for an entertaining run, but I fear that the blocking system would water down the run... also, in order to get to Super Hard mode or the extra characters (if planned), you'd have to use an existing file...
Gunstar Super Heroes sounds promising, but hasn't come out yet. Still, if it's anything like the original, it'll be a blast to watch.
Well if that Zelda run which I suggested isn't going to be done, which I guess it isnt, I would be very happy with a Sonic run instead. Very happy. I do agree that Sonic Advance 2 is the best one to run too. I can only imagine how fast you can get that to go when the boost mode kicks in.
You know the problem with running Zelda, it's that it requires a lot of time, a lot of courage, a lot of will and a lot of nerves...
On GBA you can roll at the beginning of the game, and it's obviously fastest than simply running (though you cannot stop the roll once performed)...
So I guess that it'll be a real pain to roll all the time (i don't know if it has to be frame perfect, but if it does, it will be even harder and it shall take a HUGE amount of time...)
And if anyone wants to run Sonic Advance 2, it seems that it qould be really appreciated :)
Just played Sonic Advance 2. Y'know, while the GBA games have good speed and stylish jump possibilities... they all tank. Hard. I dunno what it is, I can't quite put my finger on it, but there's a distinct lack of oldschool charm to them. I can't force myself to play any of them for very long. Maybe it's the ugly Sonic redesign sprites, I dunno.
That all being said, I'd still like seeing them TAS'd. If you get a smooth route and can incorporate rail and ramp jumps for good, stylish effect, then I'm sure they'd be some of the best movies on the site. c.c
To be honest, I find the GBA definitely the most disappointing console of all time. It should be great on paper, but instead it's where all great series go and mysteriously become terrible. Usually the lost in translation part of the port is concrete, as in lowering the difficulty in uh just about every game, but sometimes it is hard to put a finger on it.
The only games I can stand are new games in new series (Golden Sun, MM Zero, MM EXE, Boktai, WarioWare, Advance Wars and FE in the US), I can't think of a single remake that was even on par with the original, and even games that everyone else and their mother thinks are great (Mario and Luigi, FFTA, Sword of Mana, etc) I think are awful.
I think that, by choosing to make a portable game, developers are subconsciously choosing to slack off in a way compared to making a console game. It doesn't seem like it should work this way (I'm not one who thinks that graphics and gameplay are opposing ends of an axis for example), but maybe there's a self-fulfilling prophecy deal going on that dooms most should-be-winners on the GBA to failure.
i think a speedrun of these games could be cool:
Astroboy
Boulderdash EX (perhaps the usage of some items is slow -_- )
Lego Star Wars - The Video Game
Mario vs. Donkey Kong
the mini-game: Kirby Wave Ride from Kirby and the Amazing Mirror
^^

Still pushing for someone to do Advance Wars. Both.
If it'll help anyone, these are more useful than Gamefaqs' stuff: http://www.awrevival.netfirms.com
Though I've tested these and... I dunno. Some maps work fine, some don't. Maybe he used a different version and the AI is tweaked between them, I dunno. I have the (U) rom, if it matters.
I've considered that an Advance Wars 2 TA (even using a Walkthrough) would be really hard to do if it has to be frame perfect (or near frame parfect).......
Moreover, the Walkthrough KaitouKid posted is good but the AI of the game is far too random to match the whole walkthrough...
Though I still think that if anyone is courageous enough it would make a marvellous run :)
that walkthrough kaitoukid posted, to the AW2, it seemed to show how to win with S-Rank.. but its not the fastest way to win.. i.i so it opens 2 possibilities of TAS, S-Rank TAS or only aiming for the fastest time.. which is easier to do and would make a good show^^
on the other hand, kirby wave ride from kirby and the amazing mirror is a easy superplay to do, and would be cool to watch^^ or maybe kirby's air grind from kirby - nightmare in dreamland too *-*

I'm surprised nobody did Metroid Fusion. I may be willing to give that a shot, after I finish Boulder Dash and Rayman.
I was also planning on doing a run of Boss Endurance in Kirby:NiD, not to sumbit to the site, but just to see how fast it can be beaten, since I used to timeattack it myself.
Boulder Dash EX is a dumb game, IMO. I got the cart, but I didn't enjoy it much. I don't think it would make a very interesting TAS. (Perhaps the Classic mode would, though)

Yes Jazz Jackrabbit is a great game with many customizable weapons. "I could jump up and shoot, or i could hold down up + left to shoot".. The game's pure gold, even if epic megagames had little to nothing to do with what happened with the game. Boomin beats too.
Turbo Turtle Adventures (maze type game)
Drill Dozer (US name due to be out soon in US) (Action-Adventure-Puzzle)
The controls on Turbo Turtle Adventrues's controls can make it difficult for percision movement, as it uses acceleration quite a bit, making it difficult to optimze (also multiple level paths).
Drill Dozer, may not be too hard to optmise, but a good recorded completion of the game will be enjoyable to watch.
Games I don't want to see a speed run of:
Monster Gate (I and II)
This game just has a horid amout of luck, making it near impossible to optimze, any speed run would be quite boring as the luck would be manipulated so that the stairs to the next level will be close by.

When I finish my AoS run. I think I´ll make a Gunstar Future Heroes one. It´s really really awesome.

I'd watch such a run just to see the Moon 2 Stage 1 boss completed without being hit. Getting through the level as fast as possible and without getting hit isn't a problem, after a few (dozen) tries I managed to do that consistently in realtime but that boss appears impossible. The stupid standing-on-the-ship stages should be run as pacifist, even on hard these things aren't challenging in the least.
I've tried starting a run once but considering how many different ways there are to do damage and this whole perfection thing not being my thing I didn't get far before I gave up.

I'd love to see advance wars done, I'd rather see an AW1 run over an AW2 run as 2 just seems to...linear, whereas in 1 you can kinda choose your path depnding on conditions and such, it's been awhile since I've played 1 though, I just glitched my way through it when I got bored of it :S
I'd like to see a fftactics done as well. Although I'm sure that'll be difficult with all the stats, crit hit, miss etc, as well as turn order, laws, map movement...I think I just talked myself out of seeing it done.
