I still have some tests to do, I found a way to walk faster in all directions by pressing: up-left, left, down-left, left. I tried this on a wall and started walking in the air for few seconds. Seems like this game will be broken soon. ^^ I also messed the gravity when jumping out of the water, i'm now jumping really f**king high. O_O Link to video Edit: Seems like it was caused by PSXjin's Resident evil 2/3 & Parasite eve 2 fix. ><' Edit2: I managed to fall through the invisible wall in front to the screen and die... weird.

Very good news indeed! How could I not have noticed these new posts early? In any case, I know that it is obvious, but have you tested it on the over-world?
I am old enough to know better, but not enough to do it.

I haven't been able to reproduce it, seems like it only works on some walls. I redid the first level. http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/601980849/PAC_MAN_WORLD.pjm

Something related to speed, perhaps? As in Mario 64, I mean. Too bad PSXjin is not working on my PC :( Anyway, I also have a good feeling about these new tricks. Keep up the good work!

Reposting again, TAS completed, Duration: 0h 42m 6.35s (151581 frames). http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/1995721776/PAC_MAN_WORLD.pjm Part 1: Link to video Part 2: Link to video Is it too sloppy ? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- New discovery: It's useless though, you can die in the overworld, swim under a little part of the floor but you can't get anywhere and you need to save all your friends to get to toc-man....

Didn't watch it completely as my bandwith doesn't permit, but doesn't seem sloppy to me. I never played the game, but still.

I have made TAS of this game before, and there is such a movement in TASVideos, too, so I am very glad. I think the optimization is very difficult, but support you as much as possible. ↓My TAS. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zmZ7O32vMJA

Hello there, trying to spark new interest in this game long forgotten around here. It's been almost two years since I uploaded my TAS attempt, i've been doing RTA Any% runs in the last month or so with the tiny speedrunning community (if it's big enough to be called like that). New strats and tricks have been discovered, we can now skip levels entirely thanks to runners Robthegamer117, Ahbeef and TheRuseman.(http://www.speedrun.com/pmw) (skype group: Pac-Chat) So, here's the latest RTA Any% WR (1:01:48). Link to video Just putting it there to show the potential of the level skipping glitch, the last TAS was 45 minutes long and easily improvable, this may bring the time down to sub 30 i think. I may get back to TASing someday, wanna know if anybody is interested in searching with us.

Just to register, there's a GBA run now
