Link to video First of 25 Levels. Rolling is the faster mode of transportation until you earn Dash Attack(Which is equal speed, just has the possibility to knockback enemies instead of rolling through them). From what I've found, rolling cant be cancelled. Here's a spreadsheet of the amount of damage you do with upgraded abilities. Most abilities do up by 1500,4500(?),13500 orbs, others are 10k,20k,30k. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ExDZ-PXWH-eHgbMHe4jBzJtAO5MRaknil1DMzv-lCoc/edit?usp=sharing

So the chain power does more damage later in the game is what I take from this? Does that mean you'll eventually use it, because I will be sad if it's not used. :P
Current thoughts: Hachiemon (J) for GBA.

Yeah hell chain will have a greater use on kater bosses(when bosses ground pound so i can get a full attack off) The only side effect of hell chain that you dont get with fist power is lag, lots and lots of lag with hell chain animation + bosses. Ill also test dash attack and rolling to see if theyre equal so i can change uit up between the two so it doesnt get boring The test i will be doing as i continue to tas is what to upgrade when I can. My first upgrade comes at the end of the next level(bike). So im thinking fist power may be where to go first. Im still getting data on the fist power attack. It would help if i could change the hp of the very first wall in game to over 100. But when i do so, it disappears.

Link to video 2nd Level done, Bike Level. All you really want to do is hold R to accelerate and then attempt to kill the enemies as fast as possible. Some areas will loop if you do not kill the enemies, other areas will let you keep driving past the enemies(but this takes way longer than just killing them). Staying too close to the corners (in the lava) loses your combo which really doesnt matter too much but the game pretty much autodrives for you for the most part besides dodging anything.. At the finish was the other time I used the Bike Slide which in any other places slows you down, but for the finish you actually complete the level 4 frames faster. Edit: Updated the Google Doc with accurate damage, now to figure out DPS (Frames per each action) Edit 2: Cleaned up the Excel, Added Damage per frame and Damage per frame(Combined with getting to the start of moving again aka DPFM). https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ExDZ-PXWH-eHgbMHe4jBzJtAO5MRaknil1DMzv-lCoc/edit?usp=sharing In conclusion, it SADLY looks as though Fist Power stays better than Chain Power in Damage. Chain Power only becomes quicker than Fist Power during level 3 Hell Chain. So this may come in use when an Enemy has a little less health under the DMG that Fist Power does at maximum level.. Next up comes Dash damage testing, and seeing what other abilities do, such as vengeance attacks. Edit 3: Another sidenote is that even when falling from a ledge, you want to attempt to roll beforehand so that you drop quicker to the next level(as long as the next level doesnt require you to travel horizontally too far)

Link to video If you've seen the first video, Start at 4 Minutes 18 Seconds Six levels done, 19 more levels to go. I may submit this after I finish all the levels (to get a rough estimate on how this game looks) and then go back and improve on it as much as I can. Bike levels are pretty confusing. And determining which enemy packs to kill is challenging due to physics throwing enemies all over the place. AND I still havent tested all abilities. Other than those major things, the run is super fun to watch even for me spending loads of hours TASing it.

Just Starting Section 3 (of 5), Section 4 is the longest (7 parts to it while Section 3 has 4 parts, and Section 5 has 3 parts) ------------------------ Something I just figured out is Air Hell Chain is useful! (So Exonym you'll be happy now). If you look at the data, you will see at first glance that Jump Attack is better than Air Hell Chain, BUT I found out if you are standing in the middle of a boss you can actually hit twice with air hell chain. that means: Max Jump Attack: DMG 36 (~33 frames) Max Level 4 Chain Power / Level 3 Air Hell Chain (One Hit): DMG 60 (~60 Frames) So with a double hit that could be 120dmg every 60 frames vs 72dmg every 66 frames. So only at level 4 chains and level 2 air hell chain would the dmg be over what jump attack does. It looks as though as soon as you can get to level 2 of both chain and fist power, air hell chain overtakes jump attack so long as you can get double hits --------------------- Im still doing the math to figure out if Air Hell Chain is worthwhile at lower levels but that may constitute making an improved run in the future. It seems that Jump Attack can double hit too, but only on certain enemies such as ninjas holding onto the walls in Section 3. Does not work on bosses so Air Hell Chain is the best for Bosses it looks like.
