Only have a few DOS Games i would be interested in seeing a TAS of: Wizardry VII(I would be amazed if this one had the memory glitches too),Jones in the Fast Lane, Codename:ICEMAN, and Leisure Suit Larry 6.

(Reposted from erroneous posting in the Windows wishlist thread) Nyet 3 could be interesting. It's a Tetris-with-challenges game, except the challenges include things like "snakes depositing blocks on the playfield" and "barriers that open and close across the middle of the field", and you can buy items to make some of the challenges easier -- except that items are expensive so you can't clear every or even most of the challenges by cheesing them with items. Or maybe it'd just be a dull puzzle-game TAS. Who knows.

Would love to see this or even the original. I don't remember how well they flow from start to finish, but I DO remember the amusing premise and manic combination of fast, floaty movement with short draw distances. Assuming it's not too much of a grind fest, it could make for a pretty good run.

I've never played the first game in the series, but I did play Road Warrior a lot in my youth, and Road Warrior is entirely mission based, so no grinding should be necessary.

The Learning Company presents: "Ancient Empires" aka "Super Solvers: Challenge of the Ancient Empires!" I loved this game when I was a little kid. I replayed it a couple years ago, and surprisingly, it held up as an enjoyable (and occasionally still challenging) edutainment title. The animation framerate is god awful, but I still think it would be really cool to see it optimized.

I take "Eastern Mind: The Lost Souls of Tong-Nou", for sure. My main problem is getting the .img file I found to work; JCP will always say that it's too big for the space allotted; even if every required number (sides, frames, etc.) is set to it's biggest possible number. Any fixes known for this issue?

I found this speedrun of Ultima V very impressive; where the game normally takes days to complete, this does it in about half an hour. Clearly a TAS with luck manipulation could decrease that even further. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vCxDT-MBPh4

Bio-Menace or Crystal Caves would be good (although the latter is more of a personal preference than a suitable game for TASing and would probably be only vault material).

I'm not a fan of unorganized wishlist threads, but since these are not mentioned here: Ultima VII: The Black Gate Ultima VII Part Two: The Serpent Isle The non-linearity of these games should give plenty of opportunities for major skips. It would be very interesting to see what kind of routes and tricks emerge in a TAS environment.

Both VII and VII-2 contain hidden warp areas with all quest items near the beginning. While these are labeled "cheat rooms", they don't actually require cheats to enter, just knowing where the hidden teleporter is.

Feels equivalent to using the Golden Torizo code in Super Metroid to me.

Dork's Dreams I never managed to complete this game here as of today. Either the time limit was too tight, or I could never pass certain enemies. A Google Search: Dork's Dreams DOS only shows up a few results, and there's a YouTube video where only the first level was completed. I have never seen the third level :( I'd love to see a run for this game, in some time, even if it wasn't a perfect TAS...

Get 'em All I just remembered this game from my childhood. I don't know if it would be a good TAS though.. Also, let me list other games again as a reminder. Again can't say if those would make good TASes but I'd like to see them: - Mystic Towers - Boston Bomb Club - The Summoning - Al-Qadim The Genie's Curse - Mice Maze - Star Trek: 25th Anniversary (I recommend watching this series about the different scenarios this game can take) Pacman games: - Pako 2 - Gobman Edit: Probably not worth tasing, but just saying I've been looking for this game and finally found it again. At least I think it's the game I was thinking of. https://archive.org/details/Diamond_1020

Has anyone considered the unofficial (hack) Commander Keen Trilogy for the Universe is Toast? It's a pretty well-done trilogy and would make a great addition to the Keen runs here already.

Except that with the 3rd game the minimum supported OS was Windows 95.

Wonder how feasible a The Elder Scrolls: Arena TAS would be. Strafe running seems to be in and makes getting places relatively fast. Absolutely everything is (seemingly) luck based, from hit chance to if you even meet monsters at all. All the treasure in the first dungeon is so random that there's a chance to get incredibly powerful gear just outside the cell you start the game in. According to UESP, [http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Arena:Fang_Lair#Bugs]rerunning the first (relatively short) dungeon ~15 times will win the game[/url] which should cut down on length immensely (though would murder the entertainment value), particularly as it bypasses the bosses.

TASing is like making a film: only the best takes are shown in the final movie.
