Looks good. I was wondering if it's possible to skip talking to some of the guys in the Hall of Heroes. Sometimes they give you useless stuff like treasure. That would save some time if that works.

In RTA we usually skip every hall of heroes after The Lake. In the tas, I am not too sure if I need anything past the hammer. I think the hilltop level is the last level I am going to do for a bit so I can do some testing and stuff. I am most worried about the lake, and the amount of crossbow ammo if I do this. I need to take things into account like The Enchanted Earth boss, and the ghost ship enemies. The chicken drum sticks will be a huge help in most levels, but it kinda sucks I can't use them on the pirates in the ghost ship. This might also make Gallow's Gauntlet slower in the tas than in rta due to not having the lightning.

I assumed you would get all the items from the HoH minus the treasure and stuff in an 100% run. I figured you would get all chalices/items/life bottles. That would definitely make the planning easier. IMO, doing it the other way is just an all chalices/best ending run. Either way It's your run I'm looking forward to it all the same.

Here's wip #1 finally Link to video Currently over 1:30 faster than rta runs. I am going to skip the rest of the hall of hero visits because you get nothing from the other items. So the only thing that matters in 100% is the chalices pretty much. If the items provided some sort of extra ending or something I would get them, but it doesn't.

After a bit of testing, the most optimal hall of heroes weapon collection is up to the broadsword. It would probably lose you 30-40 seconds to grab it, but would save like 2-3 minutes in the long run. I will most likely enchant the sword a lot past the asylum level. also for the shadow demon boss in the enchanted earth all I would need to do is focus one of the monsters down and use the enchanted sword to finish the last one when he goes in for his meteor attack thing. Overall it looks like I am pretty much set to continue the run.

Looks good. I figured you would probably want the broadsword if you are skipping items you don't need. IIRC the enchanted broadsword isn't much weaker than the magic sword. I guess the other bows (long,magic, and fire) and the magic lightning aren't worth it? I guess you won't be getting the chicken drumstick? I would imagine it would save time on the shadow demons and perhaps some other enemies, but maybe it isn't worth the time spent getting the ambers.

The chicken drumsticks are totally worth it just because of scarecrow fields, and the lake. Also seeing how I am not getting the lightning like rta, it would be great in the gallows gauntlet. Everything in the Ant's Cave is pretty much on your path so it's worth it.

Tas work will probably be resumed around the 25th because I have been busy. Return to the Graveyard will definitely be one of the best levels in the tas.

I have finally completed the ant's cave. Literally the most boring and annoying level to tas. btw there was some rng manipulation on the ant queen, so that's why I delayed the last enemy from his inevitable death. Link to video Next level will be the enchanted earth, which should be refreshing to see.

I thought I might as well post an update. Scarecrow fields has been so annoying to get optimal, simply because of the scarecrow's invulnerability, not to mention that the farmers are also invulnerable for a little bit. You also have to kill around their respawn times. This makes some of the areas look kinda slow. Mainly the first area has been giving me problems, but I managed to press through it. Looks good! This isn't the only game with monsters that are invulnerable when they first appear, don't forget ;)

Yeah, it was just annoying to find out the ideal combination to kill them all in through out their invulnerability for the entire level. Also this looked freaking weird. Nice to know the autoaim in this game likes to screw up for the better. Link to video

Went and redid the last part of the demon. There's a trick i'm gonna call quickshot which allows you to charge up single shots and disperse them all at once dealing more damage, it's very precise. Link to video
