I had added published movies to show that some of those on the wish list are done. And included the thread link as well. The wish list is super repetitive. There does need to be a cleaner way to do the wish list. Maybe something with a voting system ?

I am now going to do this treatment for some systems: http://tasvideos.org/ListOfIdeas/GBA.html
I'm sure somebody will think of a useful way to use the lists someday.
Next up, I'm doing lists for these three systems:
--> SMS/GG Done. Sequence 1/3 completed.
--> PCE/Turbografx. Done. Sequence 2/3 completed.
--> SNES. Done. Sequence 3/3 completed.
Chime in, if you think this is a bad idea in general, or if you have any suggestions.
(By the way, if you didn't know, Notepad++ is a very good tool for editing long lists like these. You can easily add/remove letters in each line for example. Note to self: You need to use double brackets [[]] to remove brackets.)

Thank you, niamek. The list is still not sorted out, so all comments like that are appreciated.
So, do you (niamek & arandomgameTASer) think the sports tab should be removed completely? I think having the sports games listed would do no harm, because they would be in their own tab, so the list would not be cluttered by them too badly. But ofcourse, if you are certain that those games are absolutely horrendous for TASing, then I don't mind removing all of them.
Well, whether a sports game is a good idea to TAS or not usually depends on how much playaround potential it has (See Superstar Soccer Deluxe), which isn't necessarily known if no one has tried TASing it yet.
Holy crap is this list so unorganized. There are even games that are not games at all! Some of them are actually videos and not games, it seems more like a list of games that exist instead of being ideas.
Some sport games can ostensibly be TASed for pure completion time. I think golf games are potentially good examples.
With other sport games aiming for completion time doesn't make much sense, but that doesn't mean it's unpublishable. It just needs to be of high-enough entertainment quality.

That is correct. Just let me know what games should be removed or moved to another category and I will edit the page.
The point of the lists is to answer a simple question in a well organized manner: What games have not yet been TASed for system X?
There is no easily accessible answer to this question anywhere. That is why the lists are useful.
This is science, bros.
Like has been said above, you can't know a game's playaround potential without doing some experimentation. For all we know the Madden games could be sitting on a goldmine of arbitrary code execution possibilities.
There's a page that was started by Comicalflop in 2007, the Wiki: N64Wishlist, which lists all of the Nintendo 64 games along with the genre of each game and progress on TASes for them. If you want, you can copy the information from the games that haven't been done yet over to ListOfIdeas/N64 and that should save you some trouble.
Okay, I'll do that. What would you like to do with the differing columns between this page and your pages? Should we integrate "Forum thread" and "Also known as" into the N64 page and "Genre" into yours?

Sure, why not. If some of the N64 games are listed twice, then maybe it would be a good idea to move the JPN versions next to their western counterparts? I know very little about N64 games in general, so I'm not going to touch the N64 page myself. Actually, same goes for GBA and NDS. I'm also too lazy to put a genre to each game, but if somebody wants to do that, then go ahead. Do whatever you think is good. :)
I can keep the Genesis and PCE pages updated, but I'll leave the other pages to somebody else.
I think it's a great Idea, but some removing is needed I think.
Yu-Gi-Oh! - 7 Trials to Glory - World Championship Tournament 2005
Yu-Gi-Oh! - Duel Monsters 5 Expert I
Yu-Gi-Oh! - Duel Monsters 6 Expert II
Yu-Gi-Oh! - GX Duel Academy
Yu-Gi-Oh! - Reshef of Destruction
Yu-Gi-Oh! - The Eternal Duelist Soul
Yu-Gi-Oh! - The Sacred Cards
Yu-Gi-Oh! - Ultimate Masters 2006
Yu-Gi-Oh! - World Championship Tournament 2004
Yu-Gi-Oh! - Worldwide Edition
Yu-Gi-Oh! - Yugi vs. Joey - Volume 1
Yu-Gi-Oh! Gamepack - The Sacred Cards & Reshef of Destruction
Yu-Gi-Oh! Gamepack 2 - Destiny Board Traveler & Dungeon Dice Monsters
All these are almost the same game...
Actually, Yu-Gi-Oh! - 7 Trials to Glory - WCT 2005 is a special case, as you can finish it in a few minutes with a game breaking glitch (do the shop glitch, reset, put Exodia in your deck, defeat Marik edit: Yami Bakura).
Also, Yu-Gi-Oh Dungeon Dice Monsters is a completely different game.
can you give me a link for that glitch, mister mantidactyle?
I want all good TAS inside TASvideos, it's my motto.
TAS i'm interested:
Megaman series, specially the RPGs! Where is the mmbn1 all chips TAS we deserve? Where is the Command Mission TAS?
i'm slowly moving away from TASing fighting games for speed, maybe it's time to start finding some entertainment value in TASing.
Yep, that's this glitch.
On European version:
• Set language to English.
• Select 3 Volume 4 boosters, then quickly press A ↓ A, wait half a second (no more) and press B.
• Buy the boosters. Wait for the glitchy sound to stop, and when the screen goes black, reset.
• Continue. The game is now in Japanese and is noticeably slower than before.
• Go to the ??? location. Limitations are not applied in the cup you have to win to finish the game, so max out Exodia parts which you have in 3 to 28 copies now.
• Win any battle to get enough DP for the Cup.
• Win the survival cup with Exodia.
Chaos Emperor Dragon or Magical Scientist could be acceptable win conditions too.
Your starting hand is decided after the screen where you decide to go first or second.
I might disassemble this to see exactly what happens, in case there's another pattern which produces a more desirable outcome
