Hi I really want to get in on making some Sega Genesis movies, unfortunately I currently only have a couple of Mac computers for personal use! The only Genesis TAS emulator I could find was BizHawk 1.6.0 and I got it to run using Mono. Before I attempt a project I just want to check if a movie made with this setup will be accepted? I'm confused because the movie rules page says the only acceptable format is GMV while the emulator page says that BKM is preferred.

Thanks for pointing out the movie rules inconsistency. .bkm files are supported for site submisison. And Genesis is fully supported for the Mac version of Bizhawk as far as I know. I will point out that the latest version of Bizhawk is 1.6.1 as of this post. If Sappharad sees this he can maybe point you to the Mac build of this, I didn't see a download on the sourceforge page.
It's hard to look this good. My TAS projects

Alright, thanks, much appreciated. I haven't found any Mac build of 1.6.1 either, perhaps 1.6.0 is the latest one.

You already found it, (since you posted in the thread) but I always link to the latest OS X build of BizHawk in the thread for Mac builds: http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12659 After the switch to sourceforge, I haven't uploaded any there yet. I will probably start doing that. Genesis and Sega CD support should be identical to the Windows version.
