Arkanoid - Doh It Again is the sequel to the arcade classic Arkanoid. The player controls the spaceship "Vaus", having to make silver balls bounce off itself and clear an area of bricks. The game consists of 99 levels, level 99 of which faces you up against the boss Doh, but Yep2yel just uses a password and challenges Doh right off the bat.
  • Emulator: Lsnes rr1-Δ18ε3
  • Uses Passwords
  • Aims for fastest time (any%)
My first TAS :D
While this isn't necessarily entertaining beings there's no power ups, it's still something, and I figured it'd be a nice little game to TAS. I'll certainly be trying my hand at All Stages. Nothing really special about this one; just a movie to get my feet wet in TASing.
EDIT: Cancelling submission as I've learned password usage is against the rules. Will begin work on a complete run.

There's #3394: MESHUGGAH's SNES Arkanoid: Doh It Again "final boss" in 01:04.23 (which was rejected for using password) that is WAY faster. Yeah, less accurate emulator, but I doubt it would make that much difference timewise.

Ok. I wasn't sure if this kind of password use was allowed or not, so I just sent it in. I did see in the submission rules that 1-level videos weren't allowed, but I knew I completed the game, so I wasn't sure.

All syllogisms have three parts, therefore this is not a syllogism.

Good luck on a full-stages version! We do have a good full-stage movie of the original game you may be able to use for reference.
Used to be a frequent submissions commenter. My new computer has had some issues running emulators, so I've been here more sporadically. Still haven't gotten around to actually TASing yet... I was going to improve Kid Dracula for GB. It seems I was beaten to it, though, with a recent awesome run by Hetfield90 and StarvinStruthers. (http://tasvideos.org/2928M.html.) Thanks to goofydylan8 for running Gargoyle's Quest 2 because I mentioned the game! (http://tasvideos.org/2001M.html) Thanks to feos and MESHUGGAH for taking up runs of Duck Tales 2 because of my old signature! Thanks also to Samsara for finishing a Treasure Master run.
