Ok, I've been watching Bisqwit's and Arc's videos for a while now and I finally decided to try and make one of my own.
I read the rules, guidelines, submission faqs, etc. etc. My problem is actually recording the video. The game I chose to make a run of is Jurassic Park for the SNES. I chose it because it's a fun game that I'm familiar with and it hasn't been done yet.
I'm using SNES9X which has it's own recording capabilities, yet I keep reading about how people are using other programs to record the movies. Do I use the emulator to record it or one of the programs I've seen people mention, like "Camtasia" or "FRAPS"? Another thing I'm confused with is rerecording. I understand the logic behind it, but how does it actually work? I've tried saving a state and loading it while the emulator was recording, but it simply recorded me saving and loading the state over and over again.
Can someone please help this newbie out?
