This is a rediculous baseball game where the players get special powers like jumping really high, sliding really fast, throwing the ball at incredibly high speeds, hitting "bomb balls" that explode on contact, etc. I used to have so much fun playing my brother. Anyway, I did a little run (I haven't timed it) of 1 inning, me vs. computer, I win 1-0 trying to be semi-entertaining. Here it is. ROM used: "Super Baseball Simulator 1.000 (U) [!].smc" WIP timing Up-and-down used (I'm not sure where, but it desyncs without) I end the movie right after the last input required to win. It's so fun watching people jump a mile into the air. :)

Watching this brought back a lot of memories of playing this game nonstop for a few months. A few ideas to make it more entertaining:
-Somehow manipulate the computer's pitching to make more entertaining pitch counts, such as 3-2 or 3-0 and then come back to strike out the batter. -Have a batter attempt a deep sacrifice fly, like at the wall, with a runner on third, and gun him down with the super throw (if I recall correctly, fielders can have the ability to throw insanely fast to any base) -Use the super pitches more often and more creatively. I think there's a pitch that allows the user to slow down or speed up the pitch while its in the air. You can use that along with other pitches to make the batters look completely ridiculous. -Rare occurances in the game of baseball, for example a triple play, or one team throwing a perfect game until the last batter of the game, or something along those lines.
I imagine there are more ideas, but what you could do is something similar to what arc did for his Tecmo Football video and play as both teams at the same time. But for this video to be published, it'll have to be very entertaining to watch. I'm sure you can do it, though!

Me and my brother loved this game as kids, and... yeah. The NES one was great. We were hoping for like "Baseball Simulator 2.000" on the SNES. Well, an English translated version of Super Ultra Baseball 2 was released by VX Translations. Sadly for my brother not being with me anymore, and our wishes were half granted. He passed away around the time NESVideos launched.
