5 seconds is a really big improvement for just a single level! Great job there! This thing will be great to watch when finished!

I spliced all the recent gmvs together. ARZ2, CNZs and MCZ2 still look strangely unoptimal. I can't upload it to microstorage for the moment. I'm currently looking for a trick to enter MZ1 floor at the beginning and skip the whole level. I managed to fall through the floor here but it's useless.

I have been improving some Zones, now I am in OOZ but my PC is failing, after I will improve MCZ2. Good work to everyone.

I did ARZ2 in 0:40. 4 seconds faster than the last run, with the boss glitch suggested by WST on page 3. Edit: Improvable A LOT !, I just watched Mike89's Knuckles speedrun and he just flies over the whole level... and it's faster -_-' He got 0:41 without the boss glitch. I finally did Oil Ocean Zones, got 0:32 (-6sec) and 0:38 (-4sec). Really improvable, but still better than my last attempts. New WIP soon. Edit: Got 0:27 on CNZ1 and 0:37 on CNZ2. I tried to improve MC2, but the zip there was too hard to pull off… Maybe I will try something else. Gonna watch the complete run now :) (upd) I still want to contribute into this :) Tried OOZ1. Improved it by 8 seconds. And my run is still improveable as well (mainly because I did not attempt hard enough to optimize slope acceleration). Maybe next time I will try MZ1. That's great ! I'll add these inputs to the run soon. ^^ I don't even understand how to run this fast in the oil. Next things I have to learn: Slope acceleration and using left+right/up+down. ><

left+right is useful on flat ground when your X speed is under 128. It sets your X speed to exactly 128, and you can press left+down on the next frame to make it zero, and immediately start charging your spin dash. Also it is useful for moonwalking and to prolong your rolling sometimes (try to hold left+right while rolling).

After seeing Qwerty/NaturelLorenzo's Knuckles WIP, I realised it was faster without the zip, but my CNZ1 WIP is still really improvable (by at least 1 or 2 seconds just in the beginning). http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/1562032417/S2K%20noring%20CNZ1%202013-01-20.gmv The route I used may be faster but your skills are far better than mine.
