Um, no. The copyright holders can still sue you in civil court for infringement (especially if said holders sell their work commercially, as it is a record label's business to do). Artists who release their work for free usually ask nothing more than "credit where credit is due," which only applies if they explicitly say so (and many of them do).

As an alternative, I set up a tracker of my own, too, so if you want to, you can upload the file for me and I'll make a torrent and post that. ^_^

Any way, I tried near ten times to upload the high-quality on my ftp, and it allways ends up near the end with a critical transfert error (I use FileZilla), so I now don't know how to send it... if someone has an idea...
As I said, I can just put it on BitTorrent for you - all you need to do is either send me the file somehow or make a torrent yourself and seed it once I upload it to the tracker.
There are a number of ways in which the file could be sent, but the second option's probably going to be better. Just put in "http://schneelocke.net/tracker/announce.php" as the tracker announce URL in the torrent, and everything should work...

But I was really disappointed at the end when I read theses runs were timescaled. At least it is clearly stated, but it is really disappointing.

That seems to be how they call it. When I posted my Rockman 2 speedrun there, they all said they were happy that it "wasn't timescaled".

That's because hardly anyone's seeding the high-quality version. But then, hardly anyone's downloading it, either - the total number of downloads so far is 4 (four).

OK, that's you then, yes. Strange, though - I don't see the other two seeds, and the tracker doesn't list them, either.
And of course, I still have no idea why your download is so slow - which kinda bugs me really.

yagz, if Ad-Aware made you unable to connect to your internet then you definately have spyware. Get WinSockFix. And run it after you use Ad-Aware.
Also, if you feel like it, get Hijack This and PM me the log file. I'll tell you what's OK and what's spyware.
