Yeah, go for showing off Prophallus. Showing the series past is the whole point of this run, isn't it?

http://www.sendspace.com/file/k485po this is it! Thoughts/comments/suggestions? And is it "publishable"?

antd was able to publish the video on youtube. Of course, a publication, would come with a full explanation of every detour Link to video

I just wanted to give this some attention as it seems no one else has - I've been watching it in bits on Youtube and it looks very nice. :) I haven't been around long enough to say yes it's publishable or no it isn't based on how it deviates from your shorter run, but again, excellent work. Love this game, love your previous TASes.

That was pretty nice, the only downside was that you weren't able to finish it off with a destruction as rune was too low of a level.

I know. He gets legeon at level 35. I would need to calculate if killing Rika more would be worth it...

it's quite a deviation, actually; more than 30 min. Text explanation in the video could probably make it more understandable

after a few calculations, it IS possible for Rune to get legeon without deviating from the main road. Wren could still be at level 24, at Chaz could be at level 16 or 18. But that would mean Rika could only be at level 26 or 27...

if my calculations are right, the Rune will get legeon after defeating propallus (however, it will be a detour from the previous run, since only after that will I get megid). I would have to get one random battle, however http://www.sendspace.com/file/z8b9me back at the garuberk tower. Although the xe-la fight was longer, i saved 1,3k frames against lashiec by pushing my luck with healing

Why would you wait until after the Prophallus fight to get Megid? I don't get it.

"cause this is the only fight Chaz will be into; Rune needs as much experience as possible without penalizing Rika too much (she will be at level 25, at most)

I'm happy to see it, but I don't know that it deserves its own category.

The longer run was really great to watch. I'm new here so I don't know whether it gets published on the site or not, but I want to say thank you for the effort you put into making it. I think it makes for sort of a nice "plus alpha" for the published run, it shows off a lot more of the neat stuff in the game but still finishes quickly enough to keep from getting boring.

hun. the blast from the past failed. Would a true 100% run (all sidequests, minus detours for dialogues) work?

I haven't given up the idea of a 100% run. How would you guys feel for such a run, where I do all sidequests (defined as a detour from the main road in order to fight a boss (like de Dezoris climate tower), get money (the hunters guild), weapons and upgrades (the robots' upgrades, the silver tusk) or simply a sidequest 'normal' gameplay would tend towards (plate system))?

The detour to the plate system is worthwhile: I get Demi's upgrade (to be used against PD), a gun not too much out of the way (compared to Nurvus) and the laser barrier, which won't make me shop on Dezoris

I just tried 2 star dews against Lashiec. Definitely next to impossible manipulation, unless I take a shield from Kyra, which means precious frames are lost
