Hows about if you Randil, turbofa and me do a TAS on this game as we both have full potential of beating my time (which is under PAL) of the total time of 38:12.78 yes my submition was updated by the looks of the video you linked as it too was slower than turbofa's run at the start but the main part of the run is at Warp Room 2 and 3 as the bosses will slow you down
also hint in Level 2 go up not down the bomb trust me you wont get hit and you save tons of time

In Dingodile you can make the minimum of shots 4 and if you use damage abuse on the last 2 hits the Warp Room will be faster due to the invisibility frames of Dingodile the only thing that can hit him is when Crash has Aku on him.
This is going to be some harsh WIPing this game cause as you see I am....

Slower in the NTSC version and alot faster in PAL because of one level (level 3) I slew down a bit by the way loading times are faster in pal than that of NTSC so there was 2 disadvantages but the one disadvantage for PAL is N.gin He is alot faster on PAL
also I had a minor pause in Warp Room 5 for some stupid reason obviously the WIP will be fixed when completed

The slide-spinning and swimming didn't seem really optimal in your WIP.
I threw together a watch-file for you that monitors X and Y velocity of normal + swimming levels and bonus levels. I spent 3-4 hours trying to find the values for the polar bear parts and the jetpack levels but no luck.
Here you go: http://www.mediafire.com/?pzmka8a1csedecf
I hope this helps you a bit.
To load it, go: Cheats -> RAM Watch -> File -> Open, then choose this file.

Yes i am having the trouble for swapping between PAL and NTSC quite obvious when I stopped in Level 5 that I paused.
This will help alot thank you very much

Here we go again this time its faster.... i need someone to check is jumping with aku mask over and through boxes faster than walking through it...
and also whats the best thing to do when invisible
walking, Slide-spinning, jumping (spin in air)
also ICE PHYSICS FTW
Edit: I forgot to mention the Aku mask in NTSC is shorter by afew frames than the pal version. Also kept to the 4 shots only rule with Dingodile. Escape death in level 3. went through level 2 as quickly as possible
I also want to know ontop of aku invisibility trick if there is a faster way under water is it just spam A or is there also spinning in water (Like Crash 3) Speed you up.
Used Ram Watch Provided by Warepire *Hugs* and also slew my emulator down to get the perfect swimming and the perfect slide spinning (also getting into levels) It sounds like the game has a dark side

Now this is starting to look really good! I am glad that my RAM watch file is of use.
While I was looking for the velocity values I found that spinning under water makes Crash move at the speed of 3 for a short while, while he can only move at a speed of 2 while mashing A. See if you can combine these for a speedup.
I also noticed that when invincible you move at a constant speed of 2, the same as regular running, avoid collecting unnecessary masks to the best of your extent. Jumping over a few of the AkuAku boxes may be faster than getting invincible in a few sections.
When you have downtime, try to be entertaining, like ducking to the beat of the music, stuttering in weird patterns etc. It's better than just standing around looking like a statue.
For future WIPs, do consider also posting the VBM, you can use microstorage for uploading the input files: http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php

That was a pointless upload as I have already Uploaded it on Youtube and linked it Warepire told me to also give out the links + you dont have the file for Crash Bandicoot XS run that it's going up against and it's not WIP #1 it's actually #2 you can check on my Channel www.youtube.com/Spikestuff95
it's nice doing a upload and all but please check before you do.
Edit: In future for the bosses I will be doing random things while waiting for them during the levels i might get some-stuff down but for now it would look like a robot (haha thats technically me) is playing this game
Edit 2: Just forgot... How do you continue a tas encode?

It only matters to me what is on the tasvidz channel. Please reassess your post with this in mind.

While I wait for WIP#3 to process on YouTube I shall write main things about Warp Room 1 and 2 (Note: Warp Room 1 never changed between 2 and 3)
6:46 WARP ROOM 2 STARTS Download WIP#3 hereLink to video
Warp Room 1
Level 1 - Stayed close to ground
Level 2 - Took the fastest and shortest route around
Level 3 - No time for Slidespins mainly mix of jumping and slidespinning did a deathless clip at 2:32
Level 4 - I do believe Ice Physics is EPIC!
Level 5 - All about the speed
Dingodile - Limited his shots to a minimum of 4 Damage abuse
Warp Room 2
Level 6 - More Ice Physics Damage abuse for faster time in level
Level 7 - Flying Level I never like them but i manage to keep health above 85%
Level 8 - Not too much climbing prevented climbing by spinning Damage Abuse
Level 9 - Swimming again chose faster routes (closer to edge)
Level 10 - Await for those platforms and leap of FAITH! Damage Abuse for speed!
N.Gin - Why... need help badly Download file see why or check video (Like i write in the CTR forums GUN - Mouth - Shoot)

I see you have not corrected my suggestions for improvement on warproom 1, nor commented on why it would not be faster to do as I suggested in case it would be slower.
I will first of all again urge that you shall do some shenanigans / other entertaining stuff like for example ducking to the beat of the music while you wait for platforms to come in range. If it's a long platform ride, this can be applied also when standing on the platform. (Like you did in the second half of level 10)
For the swimming levels there might be a possibility that a combination of spinning and fast-swimming can be faster than just fast-swimming, since spinning adds more speed (3-4) for a short period of time compared to the fast-swim that only lets you use a speed of 2.
In the normal levels the masks slows you down when you enter the invincibility mode. These masks are the ones you do not seem to need to collect in warproom 1: (Should cut out 2 invincibility modes that are not useful)
> The mask in level 1
> The mark after the bear section of level 4
For level 7 I will again suggest that you shoot down all the planes (and bombs) for entertainment since this is an autoscroller. (Since this is rather tricky in real time, specially in the later levels where you get the super-fast moving planes)
I'm afraid I cannot really help you with the N.Gin fight. The best help would be some kind of aimbot written in LUA but that is way above my head. My best advice I can give you when he moves fast is shoot where he is going to be and don't follow him around.
Really impressive work so far though, you are over 10 seconds ahead of your last submission =)

What I'm doing is completing the whole game before polishing it up but I have to stop now while I wait for help on N.Gin

Same as before will do

are you informing the Crash 3 trick swim spin cause when its applied to the GBA it's slower for some reason.... even though it say 3/4 I'll check and clean it up later stage

I grabbed the 2 masks well for damage abuse for the both of them, level 1 I know cannot be taken out but level 4's one that's a simple to skip if I have to skip.

The flying levels are always a pain in the ass for me only for 3d games im fine.... I'll try again while cleaning it up as I wait for some N.Gin help

Dangit....

Can you point out exactly where this damage abuse occurred? Because I cannot see any necessary damage abuse.

I needed extra to go through other stuff along the way
Unless you don't need masks to get to dingodile then get 2 when you get to him.... hmmmmmm
IM AWAKE XD

Grabbing the mask in level 1 puts you in invincible mode at the end of level 3, this section looks like it would be faster to do with slide-spin and slide-jump instead. If you skip the mask in level 1 you will still have 2 masks at the end of this level.
Considering the first time you become invincible during the bear section of level 4, which is a rather easy part of that section, you may even be able to spend a mask in this section of level 3 and still be able to get the required 2 masks for Dingodile, if spending a mask would be faster.

Ok for 100% I actually have just been casual playing it and getting the crystals and the gems in Warp Room 1 took around 10mins... Without getting the gems it's around 9mins but then again I was casual playing so the gems could've also have been in the late 9minutes... (including start and actually reading the intro)
Now I might start a 100% before doing an any% now
