Combatribes is one of the hardest beat them up games I have encounter if not the hardest one. Normal enemies aren't so tough to beat but what makes the game so hard is the bosses. They are so killers with their fast and precised moves, especially the final boss. In this video, it doesn't look that way but trust me, it is.
Anyway, here is a 2 player timeattack done by me and Genisto that demonstrates a nice teamwork and a lot of action. This game features nice graphics and music in my opinion, also a wide variety of ennemies.

Phil: Accepted and published.

adelikat: I got this to sync on v1.43 improvement7, with "Use WIP1 Timing" checked and every other sync setting unchecked

I think Phil misused his movie publishing privilege here. This submission should not have been published like that ˿ 1.5 minutes after submitting without anyone having chance to review it first.

I thought this movie was really boring. Even though it surely is a hard game and all. Ok, there are worse time attacks out there (Felix maybe? ;P) but still..

I too found it a bit boring. Especially the fact that every boss with a few minions is fought against twice. And considering the fact the levels consist of the boss and few enemies. :/ It didn't look that hard either, but that may be like battletoads which looks easy too. The good things were taking no damage and 2 player collaboration. There's never too many movies with two players. And you did manage to use quite an array of different moves. But this game just doesn't have enough potential to time attack.

Same. Well played by the two as always, but I'm not so sure this was a great game choice.

>This submission should not have been published like that ˿ 1.5 minutes after submitting without anyone having chance to review it first. Good thing you picked up on this. I also felt it wasn't a good idea to bypass user critizism like that. That being said, I probably would have voted no on this submission.

Right here right now, this video had been downloaded 181 times and only 4 person doesn't like it. Probably because it's a beat them up game. Anyway, I am proud that 177 person doesn't complain about it especially when some of those people know that it is a hard game. Personally, I would have preferred doing the Arcade version but no Arcade emulator with rerecord right now except FBA that doesn't emulate this game.

I downloaded it and found it extremely boring, and repetitive. You ran into the minor enemies then bashed their face on the ground, then repeated.

ok, easy now. This is perhaps one of those runs where it's most entertaining if you are a fan of the game. A Sim City run would fail to get published if most people were unfamiliar with it, yet there is a lot of anticipation for one. Give this a chance, it seems to be doing well by the numbers, so there may be some fans out there who would enjoy it.

>Right here right now, this video had been downloaded 181 times and only 4 person doesn't like it. Um. Downloads is more an indicator of how many people are willing to check out if a video is good, not what they actually think of it. Also most people do not register and confirm an account at a board just to say that one video wasn't that good. But out of the regulars here, five out of five would have voted no given the chance. What other video would have been published with that kind of rating?

What do you want me to say? We have made this video for fans of this game. If you are a fan of this game and find it boring then I suggest Bisqwit to remove it and my apologies. That's all.

No, I'm not a fan of the game. I didn't know that you had to be one to be allowed an opinion. (Perhaps the Aussie Rules Footy was only for the fans, too.) I only suggest that you allow your own movies to go through the same procedures as everyone else's, and not publish them without review because they happen to be yours. People may disagree with me, of course.

It's true and didn't thought of that because I was sure people will be pleased but next time, it won't happen. Btw, for Aussie Rules Footy, I only suggest my opinion since it has been long time it's there. I didn't cancel it.

This game is very creepy. It describes New York as the "center of evil" in the world. The title screen prominently features the World Trade Center while the heroes are looking for "Ground Zero."

This is USA seen by people around the world because of that Irak incident and because people voted again for that Butcher. :P

I smell a flamewar brewing here... Oh, and I thought the movie was cool. But then, I actually played this in arcades way back when. The name "Slash Skate Screamers" still kills me every time. =P -Josh
but then you take my 75 perchance chance of winning, if we was to go one-on-one, and then add 66 and two-thirds ch...percents...i got a 141 and two-thirds chance of winning at sacrifice

OT: To be fair....I didn't vote for him (again). I'd imagine most of the other Americans on here didn't vote for him either......(just guessing)

Come on now, this game was made in 1990, when "that Butcher" was a nobody. His father, on the other hand, was President of the United States.

"Stay the course. THOUSAND POINTS OF LIGHT..." Wishing SNL could be funny again, Josh.

but anyways getting back to the point of this tread, i'm currently downloading the rom to watch this movie but from what i've heard, many people have found this boring. this should'nt of been accepted so fast if at all. as well played as it may be, if a video is overly boring then i personaly dont think it should be accepted at all. there are a lot of games that are just plain bad and hard to be fun for another else to watch.

Btw, should this movie be exempted from the (unwritten, but seemingly rather strict) rule of "no unpublications", and removed from the site? Reasoning: It was published by the author himself immediately after submission by abusing his judge powers, bypassing the regular voting process, which could have well been negative, deducing from its current rating (the lowest-rated movie of the entire site).

I was always surprised this was the lowest-rated game on the site. I enjoyed the run, and at the very least, it's eons better than the miserable "Toki: Going Ape Spit".
