I'm not sure who to go to about this, but I'm wondering if anyone knows where one can submit arcade runs? I'm hoping that I can get the ball rolling on the genre.

As soon as the final burn alpha emulator is more user friendly. The way it is now its too hard to use it.

In the meantime, could any be submitted? I already have three movies ready to go. Granted, they're not perfect, and leave a lot of room for improvement, but again, I was only looking just to get the ball rolling. So far I have TMNT (3 players) in 28:57, Contra in 10:07, and Double Dragon 2 in 30:00. All on Normal difficulty. All I did was hook a modded Xbox with MAME to my cap card and went to work.

I dont think so, because the movies must be recorded from reset, thats the main problem. Final burn alpha doesnt record from reset, afaik. edit: wait a second, xbox? so it was a legit run, not a tool assisted time-attack? thats not what this site is for.

So I'm back at square-one: Where can one go to submit arcade runs? I know SDA is out of the question as they have a strict no-emulators policy, but you two are the only places I know. If there's anyplace else, I'm all ears.

You could always upload them at http://archive.org.

I don't mind watching them if you have a link to a download. Feel free to post them. Only thing is that they won't get published on the movie site.
