Hey guys, I hear you are all always using FCEU and FCEUX, but I would actually prefer to use VirtuaNES 0.93 because it can do the same things those two other emulators can do and MORE! Reply to this post if you would like to hear what cool things this emulator can do.

Don't you mean VirtuaNES 0.97? It seems like it hasn't been updated in ~4 years. Anyway, you should ask a mod, so you can get a definite answer.

* As jlun2 said, there are newer VirtuaNES versions than 0.93 * VirtuaNES is no longer accepted for submissions. * And given that it looks there haven't been serious improvements since, it doesn't look like revisiting that decision would be necressary.

Fine then. I guess I'm just gonna have to start my big AitMK project all over again, but this time I'm using FCEU, the new program I just downloaded.

You should use FCEUX instead, as the format, .fm2, is a text file; allowing easy edits, in case you found a trick at the very beginning of the run.

FCEUX's TAS Editor helps much more as you can see the result of your changes on fly.
Warning: When making decisions, I try to collect as much data as possible before actually deciding. I try to abstract away and see the principles behind real world events and people's opinions. I try to generalize them and turn into something clear and reusable. I hate depending on unpredictable and having to make lottery guesses. Any problem can be solved by systems thinking and acting.

Wow, that's cool. Thanks for teaching me about the TAS editor. Which version of FCEUX is most efficient? Also, do you have to download something else with it, such as a TAS plugin?

I don't think so. I beleive only Mupen64 is like that.

2.1.5 is the latest FCEUX for now, but you can also wait for 2.1.6 release wich will have 100 times cooler TASEditor. In a month maybe.

VirtuaNES 0.9.4 don't have so much tools for TAS , Its don't accepted anymore by TASVIDEOS forum ... that means you can't use it to post your tases here on this site
