Having recently rediscovered this game (and bringing up (not so) fond memories of that hideously clunky bazooka controller and how fiendishly hard some of these games can get), I'm wondering if there's anyone else out there that would like to see one or more of the 6 games get ripped to shreds. XD Also, I'm wondering if there's any one particular game you'd like to see me tackle (except for Blastris A/B, as they're just slow and boring to watch), feel free to fire away. And, of course, if there's any interesting glitches in any of these games (unlikely as this may be), be sure to bring those up as well.

WOOOO!!!! I played those 6 games at my friends place for like a month in a row when I was a kid. About 3 weeks ago I tried to run it with some emus. But I don't have a bazooka and I didn't know how to fire unless I had one. Is it possible to do it with the mouse or something like that? Not sure how interesting a run would be, but I guess I could watch them. :)

highness : its possible to emulate the super scope with snes9x, open up your snes9x and choose input -> enable superscope then use your mouse. sure takes the feeling off the ol' bazooka tho :)

Using Snes9X v1.43-dev for Windows and it's not working. :/ Any thoughts?

You enable Super Scope emulation by enabling it in the menus then pressing 7 during the game. It's a bit weird, but that's how to do it..

And, unfortunately, it seems this movie has been brutally shot down, at least for now. While attempting to make a test movie out of the first level of one of the games (mostly to get a feel for snes9x's gameplay/movie manipulation controls), I attempted to play it back.. and got nothing. Seems snes9x doesn't record Super Scope input into its' movies. Oh well, I guess I can only wait now and hope that the new version of snes9x includes Super Scope input during movie recording..

Ack, that does suck. I think both Battle Clash games would make pretty cool timeattacks, in particular. -Josh
but then you take my 75 perchance chance of winning, if we was to go one-on-one, and then add 66 and two-thirds ch...percents...i got a 141 and two-thirds chance of winning at sacrifice

SNES9x doesn't record mouse activity either. I noticed this ages ago.

Aww crap. Send a mail to the programmers to inplant a function to record scope and mouse etc.

Oh, Super Scope. I guess that's one of the things that Nach said would be new about the run. Still, I prefer Super Soap.

Super Scope 6 is a game. And yes, it's emulated quite nicely, although you were probably refering to the Super Scope device.

Wow, that's great actually, I was just skeptical. Ideally, I'd like to see a Tornado run of Metal Combat on hard mode. Tornado has so much more variation in shots, and metal combat also has more interesting items which could be put to use. I forget, can you put in a starting code to unlock the normal modes right away? Anyway, with well-placed shots and good timing on bombs, it's possible to win most fights in about 10 sec. Though irrelevant for a timeattack, I loved the 2-player mode of this game. I remember a lot of epic duels between me and my brother. The charge times make things pretty interesting, and when using Tornado you get a fast-paced battle since a long wait means certain death by a super mega bomb shot.

BattleClash.. Does anyone know of any glitches for this game? Im thinking a fast way to do it if one shot can hit more then 1 targets. I remember playing this as a child. Never being able to get pass the huge machine thingy. Then my game got sold. But then i baught another one, and i beat it. that was recently too. I think the best way to complete it is Fastest Possible? like the Mike tyson time attack. But i doubt taking hits will save time in this game.

Taking hits can save time if you ignore missiles of sorts coming at you and use all your shots on the boss. (i never played this, but having to shoot at enemy projectiles to protect yourself is always there on this kind of game)

Every boss has a weak point. Usually, you need to blow off part of his armor to expose it, but sometimes it's possible to hit it without doing so. It might require pixel precision while the boss is moving around quickly, though. Blowing off body parts sometimes does a ton of damage. Also, the bombs may be useful to make the enemy stay in one place instead of running offscreen, in addition to doing damage to all body parts. This game is ok, but Metal Combat (the sequel) is so much better. I'd play that and put in the code to use Tornado, which opens many more options.

I agree with TheAxeMan on this one. Metal Combat has better everything: graphics, sound, bosses, challenge, etc. Also it has Tornado which can rip through bosses incredibly fast. If someone does a run of Metal Combat, please use the BALL code to unlock the hardest difficulty setting. I could never beat the game in the hardest difficulty setting (yeah I know, not a good argument for a time attack).
