Hi, I tried to play the homebrew game Video Games Hero on Desmume but it's not working. In the zip file is a rom and a folder. The readme says:
Extract the archive so that the vgh folder is on the root of your flash cart.
But I don't know were I have to extract it if I want to play it on an emulator, I tried the desmume folder, the roms folder and even C:\ but nothing worked.

You need to build a nds file if you want to play it on an emulator.

The game comes with an nds, but it loads the graphic files from another folder for some reason.

Those instructions are for flash carts, which allow people to play homebrew games on physical DSes; normally you would just open up the .nds file in DeSmuME, but this particular one isn't self-contained, so you'll need to somehow add those graphics to the ROM itself (I don't know any tool to do this but do know that .nds files are little filesystem images, unlike ROMs for earlier systems).

But is the filesystem the game uses the same as the one in the nds file?
