Hello! I am pleased to announce I have completed my Uploaders List, along with help from Ilari, and it has been integrated into the main site with help from adelikat and Grunt. Currently, it only supports YouTube, but it has the potential for use with other sites. It has several exciting features:
  • A leaderboard showing who has the most uploads.
  • Lists of uploads for each uploader, along with the movies they are associated with.
  • The ability to embed the above lists on any editable page via module.
This was done for several reasons, but the most important ones are to encourage contributions, and to help isolate sub par encodes. We know for a fact that all of Webnations runs are SD, that the runs that Nahoc has uploaded that have not been renamed are SD, and that probably most of the uploads from uploaders with limited contributions are SD. Although I'd much rather people work on NoYoutube, it would be helpful to also attack the current runs on these lists. TODO: Nothing right now... All feedback welcome. Please spread this link, and edit it into every relevant page. Enjoy!
All the best, Brandon Evans

Thanks. I couldn't let you be the only Publisher / Coder with visible contributions. <_<

Done. Just needs to be integrated into the main site. Expect it shortly. Edit: Done.

But you're a semi-admin. Besides, we're the same person. Stop pretending that we're not. <_<

TASVideos.org user names corresponding to of most of Youtube user names in uploaders list have been found out, but the following remain: * ewrgyjjiu * SpeedRunnerOfficial * uethenfaif * sephroth9999 (reported country does not match with pirate_sephiroth, and also note the spelling difference) * cranium * TASVideosArchive * Cray13aliasMP2E * A2ZOMG (A2ZOMG?) Anybody knows who those are?

Thanks. Anyway, I might make it my mission to replace these encoder's work. They are probably not HD, anyway.

Awesome work, Brandon (and Ilari). You've done so much work since the first day you've register here, Brandon! Huge thanks to you.

Correct. I checked, none of them is a proper HD encode. And I would guess most of those 10 are uploads of SD encodes for those movies.

Yeah, I fixed this. Thanks. Edit: Reformatted the list of Uploaders. Also, I split up the lists onto three pages.

I eliminated my last TODO. Every modification to a movie's files will result in a recache of the YouTube stream's data. The cronjob is more efficient, but still isn't in crontab (That's adelikat's decision to make). All current files have been recached. The uploaded time is displayed on the tables. If anyone has more suggestions, please let me know, but I think I'm just about done with this. :)

Interesting idea! However there is a small thing to be fixed:
This list is generated by a module that can be used in the Wiki. If you are an Editor, you can it on any wiki page by typing:
You can it. Some word is missing. I hope we're going to see lists for other upload websites as well. Even though archive.org is going to be tricky, unless you retrieve the email address of the uploader from the xml data. Still, nice work so far :) EDIT:

Project by me that I never finished. It was supposed to crawl the forum for fm2 files, and then automatically render and upload them.
