It would appear that someone found some kind of walk through walls glitch by luck. Maybe it's worth investigating. I didn't play this game, but maybe I'm going to take a look at it.

Wall clip in 5-3, found by was0x. This only works due to the platform right next to the wall that is clipped through. We tried to reproduce the trick at the place in 2-1 where Phở encountered a wall clip (see here), but no luck yet. Walls and slopes are very robust so you can't pass through them with high speed. It probably was a special case such as the movie I linked to.

hey Guys BBQSauz found an interesting clip in 5-5 in one of his runs. Link to video Go to 23:55 That clip saves around 5 seconds in a run and maybe someone could look more into this.
Current TAS I'm working on: KDL2 any% TAS: 2/38 (5,2%) Need to re-do w1-3 TAS I paused: Mario vs. Donkey Kong US: 1,5/49 (3%) mugg, you are my waifu

That must be the same clip that happened to Phở. Now that we have a video it may be easy to investigate and find more places to use it in.

Ahahaha, it looks just like the Kirby's Adventure clip! I wonder if it works the same way? It'll be nice to see the published run improved regardless.

- If anyone needs this I have made a VBM of the slope clip. Link - I confirmed the clip works in both directions (left and right slopes). I did not confirm if it works on ceiling slopes. - You have to be fat Kirby to do the clip. - I'm making a video about this trick since I already found 2 places where it saves time in TAS. I'm not really sure but I think Coo might be faster than Kine in the water levels.. From my little testing Coo wasn't that desperately slowed in water and Kine was slow on land..

Oh, that looks cool! Nice work. I can't seem to download the file you linked though. Is Microstorage down? EDIT: Looks like the problem was on Microstorage's end. I successfully downloaded the file today, good demonstration movie.

Browsing nicovideo to look for new glitches. I came across these videos: Link to video Link to video - They were uploaded in September 2013 and show the Coo Clip. Coo Clip has been known by Japanese for two years, but since that went unnoticed, our community only found out how to do it in Feb 2015. Funny - I'm kind of curious if / how this went unnoticed among the #TASers IRC channel (was0x?) If nothing else, this should be a sign to keep a better eye on nicovideo and possibly other sources in the future.

I noticed in the Youtube video of 0xwas' 100% run at 20:12, the Coo clip timesaver wasn't done, which would have saved about 52F. This one wasn't done either. Also, I was wondering if you can clip and get ejected by the wall to save time.. (level 6-5 room 3 or something)

<was0x> I didn't use 2 clips for reasons. For 1st clip, I have cutter (It's required in next stage) so re-inhale ability resulted clip was slower
<was0x> For 2nd clip, Soulriver's movement was bad :p + cutter animation is longer than spark iirc
I have forgot, that the requirement to clip is to be fat, which would make my 3rd suggestion invalid.

I found some useless graphical glitches: They're done in Level 6-3, and it uses a glitch that lets you swim in the air, beneath a slope. It's kinda precise, but it's easy once you get the precise position in the slope. I think this is useless, but it looks cool nonetheless. (also i dunno where else to post this...)
