I'm currently running Sonic Colors and there are maps out there that require some effort to use. Basically there are two separate layers for each levels and they two need to be combined into one before they can be used. The problem is that MS Paint 7 takes about five minutes per action in order to combine them into one. There's six actions that are performed to make a finished image that can be used for route planning. That's 30 minutes per stage! My computer isn't very old, about a year or so. I built it myself and it's not shabby by an means. I'm not sure why it's taking so long other than the dimensions are huge (over 20,000 x 5000, at least, for each stage). So, can someone recommend a program that can be used to speed this process up?

Generally for automated image processing I turn to ImageMagick, but that requires knowledge of the command line. It may not be any faster but at least you can queue up each action in turn, leave it to run, and go do something else.

Alright, I'll check it out. I don't have knowledge of command line, but I'm pretty good at swimming my way through something I have no idea how to use. Thanks for the quick reply :D

That was the site I was using for the maps! It only had the first level combined last I checked the combined section. Thanks so much <3 :D
