Post subject: Video encoding Issues

HI.. Whenever I try to capture a recorded movie using mupen64 rr v8, i select uncompressed for the codec and when i playback the avi file, i just get audio and no video! i have tried different codecs with no result! what can it try? my os is win 7

Try disabling desktop composition.

If I remember correctly, not all video plugins for Mupen are capable of dumping video - what plugin are you trying to use? What are you trying to play back the .avi with? Also, uncompressed video probably isn't the best idea - depending on what you intend to do with the video after ripping it, you should use an RGB32 codec such as CamStudio (check the [wiki EncodingGuide]encoding guide[/wiki] for info about that) if you're going to do post-processing, or perhaps nab a copy of ffdshow and dump to x264 lossless if you're just going to upload the raw video somewhere.

I'm with the same problem " i just get audio and no video!" ( black screen) I'm trying encode the my mkt tas using the codec xvid or ffdshow but no works ...
whatever worth doing, is worth doing well
