Hi everyone, i am new to TAS but it seems really fun and hope to accomplish something decent int he future. At the moment i already have the recommended Nes emulator and watched myself play a part of Amagon. At the moment i am having trouble deciding what to do. Recommended NES games or anything, i dont mind which console really as long as it is pretty simple to record. So, Hello!!!

Thank you Mister Epic, i ended up playing Shadow Of the Ninja and cleared Stage 1 without getting hit using the tools. Sorry mmarks what do you mean? Thanks :D

Welcome! Starting out with an NES game is a good idea. There are many simple NES games, and Amagon is a good choice to start with. There are a few games listed under question 2 in the Anticipated Questions page, so maybe that page can help out. If your intention is only to learn how to use the emulator and the TAS tools, any simple game that you are familiar with, perhaps Super Mario Bros, is a good choice. If you want to make a TAS that you intend to submit, take a look at the movies from 2005, maybe you can find something there.
