Although the only goal is the first of these, it also satisfies a few other categories inadvertantly:
- Aims for fastest time
- No death
- Takes no damage
- Pacifist
- Uses warps
And unlikely it does not satisfy the usual categories:
- Abuses programming errors in the game
- Manipulates luck

Description:
The description for the
previous published movie was perfect. Although there is one thing I feel it should mention: The moving blocks are not on a timer, they are moved by weight. (I didn't understand this after first watching the movie)
Thanks
Thanks goes to Blechy and Bob Whoops for providing a great base run to work off of. And thanks to Nitsuja for his
level 1 demo as a reference and his work on snes9x. Also thanks Boco for showing us the game in the first place (and
maps and route stuff too).
Making the Movie
Making this video was very challenging. I saw Blechy's comment in his submission: "I think it's safe to say we've pushed the game to its limits." This is what inspired me to do the run, because I knew that a game this crazy is never pushed to the limits. My version is still far from perfect (I don't know of any specific places to save frames, but they exist none the less).
It never ceased to amaze me how completely different methods could end up being so near in time, for instance, in the first level, I start completely different than Nitsuja does and it ends up only about 8 frames faster. Later, the level with the sea horses, is also done completely different and it saves only 10 frames (I was fortunate to discover that method because I was having a real hard time matching Blechy).
Grab some popcorn and enjoy the movie! You might not have time for the popcorn though!
