That is dubstep? I was thinking dubstep sounded more like this (my favorite Burial track, btw).

Warning: When making decisions, I try to collect as much data as possible before actually deciding. I try to abstract away and see the principles behind real world events and people's opinions. I try to generalize them and turn into something clear and reusable. I hate depending on unpredictable and having to make lottery guesses. Any problem can be solved by systems thinking and acting.

The scope of that genre is still not clearly defined as far as I get it. The characteristics seem to be the use of very low to sub-bass-frequencies, weird VST instruments and funky voice samples. I've also heard its beats/rhythm being described as basically being low-bpm DnB. Check out "Blackleg - Smoke Test (2009)" under this wikipedia entry for an example that sounds more similar to the links I've posted.

That was a new genre for me. Never heard anything like that before. Perhaps because I don't listen to music almost at all. Although if I had to choose a modern genre to like, I'd probably choose trance. An example of something I like.

Not really, some rock bands I really like are Red Hot Chili Peppers and Led Zeppelin, jazz bands I like include Chicago and Tom Scott.

I listen to a lot of rock and metal, now for the true shocker: I prefer to listen to my music on CD and LP (explanation for all you modern kids: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LP_record ) If anyone cares my collection can be seen here: http://www.musik-sammler.de/sammlung/warepire

Cocteau Twins. I could listen to Heaven or Las Vegas FOREVER.
