hey. i thought id post this since I think its fun. dont know how old it is since my friend found it the other day. http://www.jmtb02.com/flash/metaphysik/metaphysik.htm or the ebaumsworld link: http://ebaumsworld.com/ballrevamped.html the games pretty basic, but its fun if you get bored in the middle of class or at work. AND... its judged on speed... tee-hee-hee. somewhat... im not really sure whats what. i was trying to think of other things offhand, but cant. anyhow, if anyone knows any other good flash games, please post. i like playing these but only know of addicting games, candy stand, popcap and newgrounds (but new grounds generally floods the IE CPUs at school so i dont go there as much). EDIT: HEY! got another one. ive been playing this for a while and its my favorite thusfar (aside from ball revamped; even though its nothing like it) http://www.albartus.com/motas/ if it works for you, good. it tells me on some CPUs i need to install quicktime but quicktime wont DL so im screwed there. anyhow, enjoy. its a bit of a BRAIN HURT type but rewarding when u figure it out. ...somewhat. got 2 more. mostly puzzle types. and again, i don't know how old they are, but i've enjoyed playing them. http://www.ebaumsworld.com/gridlock.shtml this one is more of a puzzle game. you can only move certain blocks in a certain direction. http://www.ebaumsworld.com/marathon.html no, its not a dog... i dont know why it says that. anyhow, this one has passwords if you want to continue later! also, the advance/expert mode puts you at level 10. other than that i never noticed any real change.

I like my "thank you"s in monetary form.

Yeah, I've been playing that one for a few days now. Do you understand the SPECIAL box? I don't get it at all.

matching character on special box with the one you are hitting, you could boost a bit farther (if you click)

can someone list the SPECIALS for all the corresponding characters? namely, the girl who blocks... when you SPECIAL her, shes turned me green and ive bounced (literally hit the ground, squashed and bounced), turned red and gotten "charge"!? whatever that is... and i think ive been turned gold once... but that might be me mistaking the GREEN as well. anyhow, id just like to know what each of these actually do as im a little lost there. otherwise, this game is very addicting. EDIT: my buddy and i have been playing this constantly for the past 2 days... heres his high score so far: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v235/wickedestchild/bike_roll.jpg

i loved the megaman vs games, nice! and nanaca crash too! do you guys like Final Fantasy Tactics, UFO, or tactics ogre? PLAY THIS: http://www.digisonline.com/tactics/play/ i got addicted. click the play NOW and type in a login name and a password, if the login name doesnt exist you will get to create a new password, yes registering is THAT easy. then you will play vs other people and its a turn based vs game. the cool thing is type of units, you start with 13 units or so, to make a group of 10 units to play. but sometimes there are unit drops and if you win the battle while a unit is being dropped, you will get that unit. its really cool

I played that game (TAO) for a long time, it is indeed a lot of fun with a great deal of strategy involved. But I started getting annoyed at the luck involved. I started a post which said armor should affect damage reduction rather than chance to hit, as that would be more predictable and strategic, and while a few agreed with me most didn't. Oh well. It's still a great game.

This probably isn't quite what was in mind when the thread was made, but someone on the Somethingawful forums made a very nice Picross engine thing in Flash. http://www.thetimmys.com/flash/picross/index.php Clicking (and dragging) selects squares, selecting again will remove selections, and shift+clicking will mark squares with Xes. Not that great if you don't know how to play/aren't interested in Picross, and there's only 30 puzzles, but those 30 can last you a while if you're not very good at Picross (like me).

I just set a new personal best in Nanaca Crash: 12799.75. Two glasses-specials in a row, which I extended using my red aerials, and was nearly stopped at about 11k (my old record) by two slow downs before I hit another special to give me another k. I *should* be working on my English paper, so I'll check out the tactics thing when I have time.

Heh, that game is just crazy. It's about 99% luck, but somehow it is still fun. My record is something just over 6000.

My best PR on Nanaco Crash is a little over 20,000 m. I got 2 of those "Stoping girl" Specials in a row, followed by 3 Aerial Crashs... (I also got above 450 m of Height with that & didn't hitted the guy that changes the angle...) As for the Picross game, I could only solve the 1st 5 & the last one, but couldn't finish the other ones... I'm not to good, but I'll try to beat each puzzle

OK, I'm really getting into these, but how did you finish the first one? I keep encountering a contradiction, which means there's something I'm not seeing.

The 1st puzzle is a Fut-ball Helmet, here's an ASCII draw:
[][][][][][][][][][][][][][][]
[][][][]XXXXXXXXXXXX[][][][][]
[][]XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX[][][][]
[]XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX[][][]
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX[][]
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX[][]
XX[][]XXXXXXXX[][][][]XX[][][]
XXXXXX[][]XX[][][][][][]XX[][]
XX[][]XX[]XX[][][][][][]XX[][]
XX[][]XX[]XX[]XX[][][][]XX[][]
XXXXXXXX[]XX[]XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
[]XXXXXXXXXX[][][]XX[][]XX[]XX
[][]XXXXXX[][]XX[]XX[][]XX[]XX
[][][]XX[][][]XXXXXX[][]XX[]XX
[][][][][][][][][]XXXXXXXXXXXX
[] = fill the block xx = leave it empty

Hehe, figured out just after I posted it, thanks ^.^ BTW, I just edited the ASCII, seems that I typed it wrong, now it's correct...
