I acknowledge that a lot of effort is put into runs like these.
However, as it is now, we don't accept runs of a single level out of many, that don't complete the game or do anything notable compared to other levels. That's just the way it is. The
existing publication was an exception that was allowed over four years ago. Since then, the audience has generally been dissatisfied with single level tracks.
There have been arguments before about to what extent this site should cover games (especially goals, because a single game can have many goals). Mostly it has been determined by audience response.
As for the game itself, I personally don't think much about a full game run, but I would say such a run deserves publishing as technical merit. However, there is this other issue, with the pause glitch, that
could make it more interesting, if it is possible to pull off the glitch on some laps in Grand Prix mode.
Of course, anyone who makes a single-track improvement to the
published run, whether glitched or not, will have it obsolete that run, even if such improvement stands to be rejected in its own right. However, one should not expect a good response for such a movie nowadays (though doing it glitched increases the chance of a good response, in my opinion).
