Hey, my name is Danny. I have seen a lot of TASes lately and am considering making one myself some day. I've finally decided to register here after lurking for some time! Although I am pretty busy in real life at the moment (graduate school, blah), I'm nevertheless thinking of TAS'ing a few short/simple games in the near future. Anyways, this site seems really cool! :)

Glad to hear it! Good luck on your future TASes. Any games you have in mind?

Yeah, I'm thinking about doing a run for Magic Jewelry, a Taiwanese Tetris-style game. I don't know if the game has an end, though, so I'm planning to aim for maximum score.

You may want to check the published Dr. Mario and Puyo Puyo 2 TASes for inspiration.
