So I was recording with Camstudio while playing Megaman battle network and then it crashes my PC. First my screen goes black and says "no signal received", then sound of the game keeps looping a 1/5 second fragment, and after two minutes or so my PC automatically resets. This happened multiple times, only while using VBA 22. So any idea what's causing it? It just comes out of nowhere, I wasn't doing anything special that might've caused it to crash. I'm using Vista if that's any help.

Try recording the video with VBA's built in AVI Capture. Hope that helps?

But that can't record commentary D: And I don't think it has anything to do with camstudio.

Hm..I think you can record the movie with the built in function first, then add commentary later with Camtasia.

No, I only do live commentary. Besides that still didn't tell me how to fix the crashing.

try using the AVI Capture *and* sndrec32 or your favorite audio recorder at the same time, and then combine them using After Effects or something

Alright, I'll try doing that, I wonder why everyone assumes that Camstudio causes it to crash, but I'll come back and say if it crashed with the new method. (keep it mind that I played for about twenty minutes while it was working fine with camstudio, the crashes seem to be random)

Nevermind, it lags when I use the in-emulator AVI recorder. The actually video is fine though.
