anybody ever post on this back in like '98-'99 or sometime a long time ago like that. can't get any hits on that name, but I'm pretty sure that was what we called it... bigstu, blienk, Anvil, bubblun, clawx, damien c dave "weird edsel" Edsion? basically even if you didn't post on the forum but you were a fan of the NES nostalgia trip resurgence in the late nineties and frequented Diefwolf's Site, Bigstu's Site, http://el33t.silius.net/ (my site) or any of these. I miss that, was a long time ago it seems

Ha, funny enough, I used to run with that scene. Shit, I must've been like...13 or 14 at the time and using the internet at school and the library. I kinda hung around and did staffing at other sites. I think I remember talking to clawx before. I just remember (and still talk to) that cracked8ball (c8b) guy who I believe staffed there for a short time. He was one of my very first 'netpals too. And what the holy hell was I thinking going under the name Rick (Lickichu), with the parenthesis included? God, I was young and foolish.

that's awesome, i was about 15 and unfortunately don't remember you, DEF remember c8b though i think he staffed at my site for a second. I was KingSushi, a silly name DEFINATELY. Used my current tasvideos avatar to represent myself on http://el33t.silius.net sometimes, before it was nes el33t it was "KingSushi's NES Extravaganza" hahaha we were young huh? That was fun, glad to meet someone else who was involved in that shit. Oh yeah I still occasionally talk to "Gamme", and I have like all of his music. One more thing, I guess the reason I posted this, do you have access to any of the music that was being made in that scene. I remember ANvil did an amazing metroid opening theme. Due to the fact that lost my music and I only had a fucked up CD with the track burned on it, I only have about 12 seconds of it. Remember radio triforce? I'd love to find archived episodes of that. good to meetcha Rick (Likichu). and after typing this and remembering all that, I definitely remember a Likichu poking around that scene

Just Rick will do now. I've grown outta that phase. :p So yeah, I don't have any of the music unfortunately. Never even knew there was music to be had, but then again, that's probably because I had to use public computers all the time back then. I didn't actually get my own PC until 2001. I did, however, remember after the scene, I ran Game Genie Code Oddities for a while, and also submitted stuff to David Wonn's site. I like to think that a couple of the things I posted there helped out with a TAS vid or two. =)
