There are a few forums I check almost everyday, I was wondering what would be yours. Here are mine: http://www.tasvideos.org/forum/ http://www.nesarchive.net/forum/index.php (a brazilian retro games forum) http://retrouprising.com/forum.php (another retro gaming forum, focused on competition) http://www.wii-brasil.com/ (wii related news, in portuguese)

Sonic Retro MFGG Shining Force Central Sega-16 Some scummy old ratty place called TASVideos I'm... not sure of it's official name Yggdrasil Online Memorial (I know ZeXr0 used to play it, he should join the memorial, heh) Kitsune Paradise (I kind of... lurk) Any others I won't list for obvious reasons.

Lurking on the Something Awful Let's Play subforum seldom disappoints. In particular, CannibalK9's run of The Void defies description. http://feitclub.com is of general interest to gamers and cool dudes of all types. You're all cool dudes, aren't you? http://www.critical-distance.com is a videogame criticism meta-blog. http://tigsource.com reports on independent game development. http://planet.lisp.org/ and http://lambda-the-ultimate.org/ pertain to Common Lisp, and the latter to functional programming in general. I also like being read to: http://jclab.wordpress.com/ http://www.miettecast.com/ Edit: and SpokenVerse if you expand your definition of "blog" to "anything with an RSS feed."

Surviving the World is easily my favorite web "comic". Intelligent quips daily, always entertaining, usually thought inducing. Topless Robot is a great source for nerdy things and Top X lists. I am a total sucker for lists :3 Amazing Super Powers is another classic web comic. Quite enjoyable. Violent Acres. The lady who writes this is very, very angry. She writes bluntly, not holding anything back. Usually, this makes me laugh. She also has excellent financial advice.[/url]

Gamespite, formerly known as Toastyfrog. Between this and it's forum Talking Time is where I get most of my videog gaming news.

Ernie Ball Music Man This site I don't spend too much time on the computer, and there's not really much happening over here, so I might cut it down to visiting tasvideos like once a week, which is sad.

How could there be more happening here? We have new administration, new emulators, new TASable consoles, a steady stream of new movies, new features like embedded movies... What else can you think of to say that stuff is "happening" here?

Nah, it's just that I haven't been active in the community for almost five years, and back then it would seem to be alot more activity on the forum. Now I'm not hanging around in the IRC channel, so I don't know how much activity I'd see there. I used to enjoy looking through the topics of interesting games and watching wips and so forth. Of course there are things happening within the TAS community or TAS'ing in general, but there's alot less activity on this forum, and even less wips than four or five years ago. I might be wrong, but it's just how I see it I guess.

I make a comic with no image files and you should read it. While there is a lower class, I am in it, and while there is a criminal element I am of it, and while there is a soul in prison, I am not free. -Eugene Debs

Team Liquid - Probably more so than any other forum right now, even though I don't post much, because I have been utterly addicted to Starcraft progaming for the last year or so. TasVideos - Well duh. Though I actually haven't been here all that much lately, for various reasons. But that will hopefully change soon (and I still check in quickly once a day at least). Metroid 2002 - Because Metroid. SDA - Always interesting to check up on runs of games that can't yet be TASed (or aren't yet TASed). 4 Chan - Yeah... Flashback - Ridiculously big forum for discussion of practically anything (in Swedish, though there may be an international one as well). I guess The Spoony Experiment, That Guy With The Glasses and Escapist Magazine too, but I'm not there for the forums as often as I am just there for (some of) the site content.

Where I [used to] post at least once per month on average: • SDA; • Shmups.com forums; • Metroid2002 (currently inactive there); • Super-Play!; • CAVE-STG; • Hydrogenaudio.org (currently inactive there); • Shrinemaiden.org forums; • iXBT.com [Russian]; • Vorbis.org.ru [Russian] (currently inactive there); • Rockbox forums (currently inactive there). Won't bother listing my RSS items (there are over 50) and social services.

Okay, I'll jump on that bandwagon... The Adventures of Dr. Mcninja Slightly Damned MSPaint Adventures/Homestuck Schlock Mercenary 8-Bit Theater (I just want to see the dang thing end already!) And there's also a private social place I hang out a lot at. Considering how much time I waste on the internet, it's amazing I don't visit more places.

Thanks, now I'm depressed: http://www.picturesforsadchildren.com/index.php?comicID=103 Funny, I wouldn't have pegged this as being the first webcomic I've read to reference speed running (that I recall). I'm actually enjoying it quite a bit though, thank you for real.

IN CASE anyone cares (and I know you don't) I got to this comic in DINOSAUR COMICS today and let me tell you it is a much more verbose reference to speed running. Also, it proves that the devil hates TAS's and therefore they must be good. http://www.qwantz.com/index.php?comic=758

I like how VG Cats is at the bottom of the updating tier.

99% of these webcomics suck. xkcd and dinosaur comics are OK sometimes but the only good ones are SUPER MEGA COMICS and Cyanide and Happiness
"Genuine self-esteem, however, consists not of causeless feelings, but of certain knowledge about yourself. It rests on the conviction that you — by your choices, effort and actions — have made yourself into the kind of person able to deal with reality. It is the conviction — based on the evidence of your own volitional functioning — that you are fundamentally able to succeed in life and, therefore, are deserving of that success." - Onkar Ghate
