I voted for the "most manly" TAS of 2009, Super Metroid any%. The TAS that solved the in-game vs real time debate the "real man's" way; by beating both TASes with the same movie! Yeah! That and the incredible optimization in this movie gets my vote.

Going to have to concur with adelikat. I waited for that movie for over 1.5 years, and it sure delivered.

I voted Banjo Kazooie, because of the dedication and awesomeness that Sami has done.

Chrono Trigger, clearly, because it totally changes the game. This is why I come to this site.

Mario World because it contained improvements which were inconcievable.

I originally started with: Banjo Kazooie Donkey Kong Country 2 "102%" Earthbound A Link to the Past "glitchless" Chrono Trigger "glitched any%" Super Metroid "any%" I'd like to say, all of these runs made this year great. It's a shame most of the great runs this year are pitted against each other. After much consideration, I will vote for inichi's Chrono Trigger. Years in the making, hours trimmed, conceived by one TASer, Chrono Trigger was probably the most technically insane run this year.
