Batman returns to stop the Joker's insane criminal plot in 4:02
  • Takes damage to save time
  • Uses hardest difficulty

  • Used VBA re-recording v22
Look like I was wrong, last movie wasn't optimized well. I managed to save another 16 seconds from using bunnybathopping and slightly improved bosses fight. Thanks to Sonikkustar for pointing out the trick I didn't know of.

cpadolf: Accepting as an improvement over the published run.

cpadolf: Delaying until potential improving has been sorted out

adelikat: The improvement issue seems to have died, resetting to accepted.

Finally got to see this. Nice job minimizing lag at the end of Stage 1. I liked how you could build up momentum at the end of the tank in Stage 2. Also, the bunnyhopping was especially cool on the train stage. Good stuff!

I was going to improve Kid Dracula for GB. It seems I was beaten to it, though, with a recent awesome run by Hetfield90 and StarvinStruthers. (http://tasvideos.org/2928M.html.) Thanks to goofydylan8 for running Gargoyle's Quest 2 because I mentioned the game! (http://tasvideos.org/2001M.html) Thanks to feos and MESHUGGAH for taking up runs of Duck Tales 2 because of my old signature! Thanks also to Samsara for finishing a Treasure Master run. As long as the previous movie has been published, this big improvement (% to the length of the previous movie) definitely deserves a Yes.
<klmz> it reminds me of that people used to keep quoting adelikat's IRC statements in the old good days <adelikat> no doubt <adelikat> klmz, they still do

Wow. This looked like one of the most fluid GB games I'd ever seen, so I went and played around with it. This run is really impressive compared to the actual game style. Everything was very fast, though the fluidity was a bit jerky from time to time. Yes vote.

Thanks for the encode, sgrunt! Looked good to me. I agree that this is an impressively fluid-looking game considering the hardware involved.

http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/167366368/BROTJandymac.vbm I TASed a short segment of the first level before this TAS was made (link above) and it appears that I completed that segment faster, but some parts of this were slower than you TAS. I was wondering whether you would like to work with me on an improvement to this run.

Image I'll used to publish with if this whole 'improvement fiasco' can be sorted out. I suck at screenshot finding in VLC (VDub can't open MP4s).

Heh, this game was also reviewed by the Angry Video Game Nerd. xD According to him, the game suffers from some really bad controls as far as the Grappling Hook. Anyway, enjoyed the run, so gave it a yes vote.

By the way, any news about whether an improvement is happening? Ventuz, did you and Andymac discuss WIPs or anything?

Actually, I've been waiting for a few weeks for a reply to a PM I sent him a while ago, so on my side, this project is definitely on hold.

ventuz: You alive? What's going on? Are you going to cancel this movie and work on an improvement? Are you going to team up with andymac?

Yeah, i sent pm back to andymac. Haven't got response yet. I'm a little burnt out, no motivation to do another run. But I can try help out doing specific section in any 'slower' part I rather: 1 - cancel this run IF andy's (or anyone) run completed with faster time 2 - leave it here IF andy decides to ditch WIP run.
