I don't know anything about those games, are they for SNES or PC, or what? I've only played the original NES game myself. I'll search for them and see if I can get them. EDIT: They seem to be for PSX and PS2. It's possible to record PSX games with a certain plugin, but I'm not sure about sound recording. Plus, that GPU plugin is buggy and inaccurate. I'd rather play the NES version so I can also make it an impressive run with Famtasia.

It's also on GameCube, but the A and B buttons are switched around for some unfathomable reason, so I can't quite recommend it.

The Neskimos have some really good Megaman 3 song renditions. I think that game's compositions really have a lot of remixing potential.

Actually, even though I think most MM2 songs are better than the MM3 soundtrack, I just think that remixing MM3 songs is better. They seem to have potential for this sort of thing. Too bad there aren't that many.

This is only somewhat related, but have you guys heard of The Protomen? They're this band out of Nashville that has created a rock opera about Mega Man. It's kind of rooted in 80's arena rock, with a little bit of a modern twist as well. Their live show is amazing. They take a few liberties as far as the story goes, but it's still pretty entertaining.

Thank your for mentioning this album! I got it right after I saw your post here (I love rock operas and Mega Man :P), but never really cared about it... Until a few days ago, when I started to listen to it again more carefully. I've got to say it is a really really good album, and a must-listen for any Mega Man fan. It's almost the only album I've been listening to lately, as you can see on my Last.fm profile. It's also possible to play the songs for free there, if anyone cares about it.

I like the NESkimos a lot more than Minibosses. They've made some amazingly good covers of NES songs.
