Introduction

Hello! Do you remember this run Xipo's CAA(V2) in 14:51? Ye,although it was rejected,it doesn't mean I have given up this game. Now it is my new tas(V4) about CAA,it is 20 second faster than V2,V1 is here and V3 is 14:34. The improvement comes from new discovery+application of rules+Memory Watch.Then I will tell the detail of them.

Rule

1,Get the EXIT and go to next city,there are 1-2 EXIT in every city;
2,"RED ALERT" is decided by route;
3,programme think someone is dead only after explodeing him not make his lefe 0;
Evevything is design by CountMemory,they are in 0540-054F,they are very important,I can solve many problems、escape some enemy and konw something in advance by looking CountMemory;
Many CountMemory begin to work with srceen position,so srceen position is more important than person position(person position=srceen position+inside position).

Some Stage

TAMPA:There is 9 frame improvment by changeing the place where getting EXIT;
CHARLESTON:Frame 5164 and Frame 5214 are two improtant/best point;
PITTSBURGH:Lag appears after this stage,I always stop going ahead(in sky) to escape LagFrame,because I can land more quickly,the speed on ground(4 pix/frame) is faster than in sky(1 pix/frame);
Last BOSS:stop the movie in advanced with a good idea:) Don't think he is foolish/easy,in fact,much heavy LuckManipulate is applied to deal with every BOSS;
There are also many good ideas in other stage,for example "RED ALERT",I can't tell them clearly because poor English,you can understand them easily from the movie.Enjoy it!:)

adelikat: While this movie was canelled, it was only done so by the author to avoid a game choice rejection, therefore I am "unrejecting" and accepting for publication to the Vault
feos: converted the movie for FCEUX 2.1.5.
xipo:cancelled

Here's an encode. I liked it; it was reasonably quick and abused the game's physics. Edit: changed link

I'm annoyed that the game has only one main tune (I mean, the music of Bad Dudes was better than this), and the boss fights seemed to take a long time, but I like the quirky dash move and use of the shield. I also liked the idea of the bosses who start by holding barrels over their head, but they eventually end up on fire. Yes vote.
Used to be a frequent submissions commenter. My new computer has had some issues running emulators, so I've been here more sporadically. Still haven't gotten around to actually TASing yet... I was going to improve Kid Dracula for GB. It seems I was beaten to it, though, with a recent awesome run by Hetfield90 and StarvinStruthers. (http://tasvideos.org/2928M.html.) Thanks to goofydylan8 for running Gargoyle's Quest 2 because I mentioned the game! (http://tasvideos.org/2001M.html) Thanks to feos and MESHUGGAH for taking up runs of Duck Tales 2 because of my old signature! Thanks also to Samsara for finishing a Treasure Master run. From the submission comments:
Shoutouts and thanks to mklip2001 for arguably being the nicest and most supportive person on the forums.

I never saw that game before, it wasnt super entertaining, the music was quite poor, the dash was somewhat feeling a bit long to trigger, but ill give it a yes, graphics are not too bad and it made me think to bionic commando, seem the movie was well made (given that i dont know the game anyway...its just assumptions)

Man, bosses take 16 hits to kill? That's absurd. It plays basically like every Data East game, but lacks the bizarre charm of games like Karnov. The TAS looked well played, but that's not enough to make it interesting. Meh.

Got to vote Meh on this one; while well-played, it was very boring.

Movement seemed a bit quirky and bosses took a while to down, but still a nice run. Voting yes.

Bad Dudes has two main tunes. One for the walking/jumping levels and one for the scrolling levels. They are divided about equally for the length of the game. =p I can't seem to download alden's encode, I keep getting a 0 byte file. It apparently is a problem on my end, since no one else has said anything. EDIT: Quite lethargic movement. Boss fights take forever and the character is just too slow to be impressive. It's not bad, but there's just nothing too exciting going on. It looked well done technically though and it is short enough to be watchable. Voting meh due to slow game mechanics.

Sorry Xipo, this is still a definite No for me. Boring stages, boring repetitive boss fights... I don't see it being published.

The Filedropper encode link only takes me to the front page of the site. Do I have to have an account to download from there?

How come all the clean, easy sites delete my files so fast? Oh yeah, probably cause they're broke. Try this one: http://www.mediafire.com/?j1nnbrx9lbz

Few notes from watching: - I was expecting Captain Planet and not Captain America thanks to misread/thought topic title. Oh well.. - The game choice is not bad. Being license-based, it instantly has a small amount of extra flavor. Level design had variety too. - The Red Alerts were interesting. Xipo handled the different enemy formations well. - 6:41, sliding on your knee over a spikefloor is reckless and looks very painful. - Boss fights were a bit dull. My overall vote is leaning towards yes. Oh, and thanks to alden for putting up with the whole encode uploading rumba.

This was too boring to watch all the way through. While the execution seemed on par with the site, I don't see why anyone would really want to watch this. No vote.

Oh, I missed this one. Precessing the publication.
Warning: When making decisions, I try to collect as much data as possible before actually deciding. I try to abstract away and see the principles behind real world events and people's opinions. I try to generalize them and turn into something clear and reusable. I hate depending on unpredictable and having to make lottery guesses. Any problem can be solved by systems thinking and acting.

Did you have encoded? xipo has improved this run 138 frames before 2 years ago. http://bbs.tasvg.com/thread-1459-1-1.html But I don't know he's willing to submit again or not.

Thankfully I haven't started (just was going to).
