On the submission queue page: * The Edit button/link is always displayed as [|.]. * "Access blocked because of missing/unacceptable referrer information." when you click on any sorting arrow (in IE 7) or "underline" (in Firefox 3.0.11). On other pages: * The Edit button/link is displayed as . if you are not logged in. EDIT: One more (forum bug): Right after I started this thread, the post-post redirection guided me to http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=205633#205633, which doesn't exist.

The movie statistics page is down - I get this error when I try to reach it:

And the website is kind of slow. It might be related to this update. Because there's a lot of update on the sessions table, it might slow down the website. You should see if you can put a no lock on the update. This might solve the problem.

fixed. Helping was also affected by this at least shows something again. I'll have to dig into the code to comment on the urgent seed requests.

The search page is out of order: http://tasvideos.org/Search.html It only appears to work if you are logged in. Otherwise, it always returns 0 results.

For whatever reason on one of my computers most topics in the forum don't get marked as read now. Not all, but most. Running Chrome on three computers, only happens on one. Not terrible, but thought I'd mention it.

I've had that problem for ages. I'd love to know what causes it. :\

alden, Derakon: Log out from the forums, delete your cookies and log in again. I've never had that issue, but I'm guessing it's session related. ZeXr0: It will happen again and there's nothing we really can without getting a server with even more memory.

On the "Pending submissions" page, whenever I try to sort the list, it links me to the front page. ie clicking on "⇕Submitted" will link to the front page.

This might have already reached your attention, but it might be worth pointing out: In the Workbench section, there is a link to page 2, but if you go to page 2, it says "There are no posts in this forum." Is this something that can be fixed, or is it a bug that is buried deep in the PhPBB code?

Hello again, I have a forum bug to report: Whenever you quote a forum post by TASVideoAgent or TASvideoGrue, the name used in the quote is NesVideoAgent.

The latter is fixed, but I'll have to talk back with Nach about the former. Thanks for the report :)

Having difficulties accessing the board at times...
phpBB : Critical Error Error creating new session DEBUG MODE SQL Error : 1205 Lock wait timeout exceeded; try restarting transaction INSERT INTO sessions (session_id, session_user_id, session_start, session_time, session_ip, session_page, session_logged_in, session_admin) VALUES ('b3e5efd353d010b0371f125d19e7b12d', -1, 1249531803, 1249531803, '476f021c', -1, 0, 0) Line : 200 File : sessions.php Backtrace: includes/functions.php[743]: ErrorPrintBacktrace() includes/sessions.php[200]: message_die(204, string(26) "Error creating new session" , string(0) "" , 200, {string(55)}, {string(239)}) includes/sessions.php[407]: session_begin(-1, string(8) "476f021c" , -1, true) login.php[37]: session_pagestart(string(8) "476f021c" , -1)
After an extended length of time waiting, half a minute at least, I'm hit with this message. It happens often enough that it gets quite difficult to see much of what's going on at the forums. I often enough lurk without being logged on, so I'm not quite sure if the problem works the same way with our without this status. In any case, things are extra slow for a while when trying to view the forums. The main site appears to be fine, however. You know, any page without /forum in the address box.

That page shows up regardless of whether or not you're logged in.

How much would more memory cost? Heh, I got that timeout screen when I tried to post this, how appropriate :P

SQL Error : 1205 Lock wait timeout exceeded; try restarting transaction Don't know if this could help.
The error means what it says. Are any other transactions accessing that table at the same time you are inserting rows? What is your TransactionDeadlockDetectionTimeout? The default of 1200ms is very short. Are you using 5.0 or 5.1? On 5.1 you can try to increase it... we use 10000 (10 seconds) on our production systems.
And maybe see if there are any select that could be performed with the expression WITH NO LOCK (don't know if it exist in mysql)

I found a weird bug today: The site automatically logs me out when I visit http://tasvideos.org/GameList/NES.html I have made sure I'm logged in on the main page, not just the forum, but as soon as I load the NES page, I get logged out. If I go to any other page from that page, I get logged in again. So there's probably something wrong with the page http://tasvideos.org/GameList/NES.html Is anyone else having problems with this?

I only experienced something like the front page didn't display that I had logged in until I manual reloaded the page. It has never automatically logged me out, though.

I should also note that this happens when I try to log in on that page: after entering my login name, pressing enter, enter my password, press enter, the page starts to load, but when it has finished loading, I'm at the same page, still logged out. So it seems no matter what, I can't log in on that page...

It is a known bug. It isn't specific to any one page. The only cure is to delete your (tasvideos) cookies. That will fix it (until it happens again). For me it is the user editor that is prone to this bug. I currently have no idea what is the cause of it.
