Hey, no need to apologize. Not everyone can know everything about everything else, no matter how minor. It's just a common misconception, that's all. Plus...

Pretty interesting story behind of your leaving Bisqwit (http://tasvideos.org/Bisqwit.html), even I am not a religious or a believer of God and don't have anything against them. I have to say and admit that I am really openminded and thoughtful person to understand your situation. People keep searching for the truth of life, the real itself and different kind of adventures. People are strong, I've always helped and encouraged other people to get further in life even I've been in the egde of destruction, I don't care, people should live at their fullest and never change that smiling face off from faces. I want you to keep your mind, thinking and life clean and don't let the hatred, sadness or depression to get over your mind. Use your time well. If you're interested, this is a A5 sized picture I did over a year ago. It's my way how I see this world and time: http://www.aijaa.com/img/b/00336/4391648.jpg Before you leave, remember my legendary name in your veins! Thumbs up :P

Oh, is it time for saying good bye now? Then I also give you my best wishes! I admire lots of character traits you have. (It essentially means I like and admire you, but I always attribute this kind of stuff to people's traits rather than to themselves) I wish you good luck and that you don't have to waste time and energy on things that don't do you anything good. That also goes for things you don't want to do and things that you'd rather not do again with the knowledge and experience you will have gained. I wish you that these kind of things will be only very rare in your life. That is except if the experience will have been worth it. But still, I wish you that you'll make the important experiences fast and early in your life. I'm sorry if I wished you anything you disagree with. This site and the people here have contributed to important experiences in my life, I thank you for that. I also hope it keeps existing so that others can profit from it too. Hope you'll do well

This is why every person and every nation should bless Israel. Just recently, on the very same day an anti-Israel political party was formed in France (or so I hear), an Air-France airplane was violently torn apart in a storm in flight across the Atlantic. And almost every calamity that has recently stricken America has occurred within a short time from a decision made by the government to betray Israel.
I advise this person to seek professional help from a psychiatrist. I hope it is a joke.

I'm certainly no atheist, but I have to admit that seeing too much causation in such events is probably going too far.
Wikipedia wrote:
"Correlation does not imply causation" is a phrase used in science and statistics to emphasize that correlation between two variables does not automatically imply that one causes the other (though it doesn't remove the fact that correlation can still be a hint, whether powerful or otherwise). The phrase's opposite, correlation proves causation, is a logical fallacy by which two events that occur together are claimed to have a cause-and-effect relationship. The fallacy is also known as cum hoc ergo propter hoc (Latin for "with this, therefore because of this") and false cause.

I wonder what exactly happened in September 2008. Was someone brainwashed? Sorry if this sounds rude, but hearing nazi ideas from the person I once admired, I'm feeling betrayed. ... What the hell, Bisqwit? I thought that religion and critical thinking were compatible.

^I didn't; IMO you lose your devotion to the extent you develop a capacity to think critically.

Strange, I thought we were going to blame every calamity that has recently stricken America on the gays getting married. But maybe I've watched too many Fred Phelps videos. Now, is it true we're only supporting Israel because they'll produce the 144,000 Jewish evangelists those Revelation prophecy guys always have in their End Times checklists?

/sign I've watched this topic silently every now and then and.. I can't believe what I'm reading really. Well, I'll try my best to see this site as what it is. A great meetingplace for people like me who likes games instead of the scary sect recruitment it looks like now. Not sure if I can succed now though sadly.

ok, first of all, kent hovind didn't pay taxes because he didn't want to support the religion of evolution to be taught in schools. second, he wasn't required to pay taxes because he wasn't a citizen of united states. third, people wanted to silence him because he was telling the truth. fourth, the tax system is a fraud (see zeitgeist - federal reserve). and fifth, the IRS was breaking the law, not kent hovind.

according to some religious people like fred phelps, there are no natural disasters, there are only supernatural disasters. there are also no murderers, there are only killers who have been sent to earth by god to punish people. in places where there are no sinful humans (like antarctica), there are almost no earthquakes. but our sins are growing and starting to spread even to antarctica, and they are starting to melt the ice, and soon there will be a flood that will destroy all flesh except 8 people

games were invented by the devil to distract us and lead us astray from the yahweh. most games come from japan you know, that's why they always use the 4 elements in RPG games, and the purpose is that we start worshipping the 4 elements and the triforce intead of the trinity of yeshua.

True, Pokémon are evil. They also encourage children to start chanting their names instead of praying to the Lord. But seriously, this thread has seen enough pointless discussions about similar out of this world ideas. People are able to believe in any idea, no matter how random it is, it scares me. And at the same time, they totally reject possible theories without any basis, just because they think they are obviously wrong and ridiculous. That's also scary.

Bisqwit, You're a strange dude, and apparently you've gotten even more strange lately. Good luck with everything, hope it works out. I hope you don't hurt anyone in your God-fueled quest, seriously. All the best.

For the record, I'm very amused at the irony of a certain comment posted here.* (Not specifying it by quoting it for privacy reasons -- maybe later.)

Thank you. Unless you count occurrences such as this as such, I have no intention at hurting anyone :) God-fueled, that is an interesting expression I'll try to remember. EDIT: *) Antd's post suggesting me to seek professional help from a psychiatrist. I happened to have a relationship with a psychiatrist, who goes to the same prayer meetings as I and our views about everything biblical, including Israel, agree greatly. At the time of this posting, we had for some time considered the possibility that God had meant us together. So the irony, as I saw it, was staggering, and it helped me relax greatly when reading these posts. The answer turned out to be negative, but we're still friends.

Yeah, but then what kind of sinful creature provokes moonquakes? EDIT: Ah yeah, people have been there already. Nevermind.

So because an arbitrary group of people does not bow over to another arbitrary group of pepole, a third arbitary group of people that are only tangentally related to the first group deserve to get violently killed? This kind of thinking is appalling, and it's sad to see it coming from Bisqwit. The rest of the page isn't much better; it reeks of religious fanaticism and other lies. Regardless, it is your decision. I won't try and stop you; it's a lost cause. Have fun in your "new life". Heh, I hit the right arrow key (not numpad) by accident while thinking over this post and it inserted a 6. Next thing you know someone's going to try to tell me that it's a sign of how I'm Satanic or whatever.

I'm going to have to agree with this. In a good way that is. On a totally unrelated note, I'm getting this really funny feeling that Xkeeper is somehow satanic. No reason, just letting you all know.
