I was reading the website where an NES was overclocked up to about 4MHz by hardware and I got to thinking... Is there any way to do that overclock using software emulation? I noticed that FCEU even has a constant which stores the main CPU clock (1.7xxxxxxx MHz), but for the life of me I couldn't get FCEU to compile on cygwin to try fiddling with that constant. Is something like this possible?

I think we discussed this in the same thread as where the link to that site was posted. But I still like the idea of clocking FCEUltra
