Voted meh: too repetitive, most of the times you were just pushing the opponent to the right corner. Though, I could watch it all without fast forwarding. So I'm not voting no, but don't expect me to vote yes.

There are 2 movies published now, and I don't think there should be 16, for each figher. Each of the movies would show only a little new, nonrepetitive material. Same goes for this movie... I don't think it's bad for a T. Hawk, I just think a single character movie is a bad idea in general, I thought it was quite boring after the first 2 matches. I'm in favor of a single movie that shows of all characters, which obsoletes both of the published movies. (Maybe this could be done by beating a computer player, next match pressing start with the second player, which picks a different character, then a two player match where P2 wins, then beat the next computer player, next match player on presses starts, and selects a different character, beats P2 and then a computer player and so on (if something like this isn't possible, then I think a couple of vs matches would also do)). So even though you didn't do a bad job (as far as I can tell), I don't think the goals of the movie can create an entertaining TAS, so voting no.

I thought the technical skill was definitely there, but the entertainment wasn't there for me, so I sadly voted 'no.' I believe videos like this should be focused around mostly weak attacks and weaker characters to allow more meat in the dish, you know?

As I see it, there's basically two types of movies you can make for a street fighter-type game. The first is a combo video, where you show off the different techniques one fighter can perform. Depending on the game and the fighter in question, these can be more or less varied, but I think it unlikely there's a character with sufficient variety to be able to carry it through all of the CPU opponents. Eventually you run out of ways to combine moves, and from that point on the movie gets very repetitive. The second type is much more of a demonstration, along the lines of what Baxter was suggesting. You set up some kind of structure to let you play all of the characters in turn. This lets you show off every character's moves, which greatly multiplies the variety in the movie, but it needs a good end-condition. For my part, I'm in favor of doing a "human" player-only run which just shows off a series of versus matches. You start off, say, with Ryu vs. Ken, and do a match showing off their respective abilities. Neither gets flawless victories, but they have a chance to show off dangerous moves, perfect reversals, complicated combos, etc. One of them wins, so the "player" that lost pulls in a new, different character to challenge the winner. And there's no guarantee that the new character will win! Maybe Ken rings up three matches in a row before losing. That way you don't know going into each match who's going to win, so you preserve interest. But you manipulate things so you can get a nice climatic battle (I don't know, maybe Akuma vs. Vega?) for the last match, with the winner of that match winning the "tournament" and ending the show.

Iirc, in Arcade mode, each fighter choose and beaten by another player is beaten in the game. Example: If a Ryu X Ken match occurs in arcade mode, and Ken wins, he will fight the other characters, excluding Ryu. If "another challenger" chooses E. Honda and wins, both Ryu and Ken won't be fought again, and so on. That way, I could always challenge M. Bison and get destroyed by him =p

A pretty good Hawk performance. Considering he is IMO very limited when it comes to showing off many different combos and variety, you nevertheless managed to make a solid run I thoroughly enjoyed watching. The only thing that you missed are to use his grabbing techniques a bit more often, as they always look pretty cool. Other than that there is nothing to complain about, so overall you did a good job on it. Thanks for sharing, SDR.
