Sorry to be off-topic, but I'd really like to see a news post/explanation for this, since it's pretty big news.
You are half a year late. Look for the new rules topic on SDA boards.

Animal crossing is one of my favorite games as well but I don't think it would be much of a tas lol...
it's a real-time game, it has no end, and to do everything you still have to have friends, which don't exist in a TAS, so you probably shouldn't have even brought it up.

I was thinking as buying everything, finding everything and upgrading everything. I know it has no end. I-Ninja is a fun game I'd love to see TASd. Such a fun game when it came out with a lot of TASing ability.

Did you listen to me? You need more than one person to get everything.

You could always just make a TAS of getting everything with one person. You don't have to get all the fruit trees, etc. Just get everything that you can with one person.

World of Goo will be an amazing game to play :) I think that there will be a great competition among TASer to make the better run. The strategies are hard to pin point exactly, and in a TAS there will be some thing that will be possible that won't be in real life. I hope to see this as soon as the Wii is TASable.

Metal arms: Glitch in the system is a fun third person shooter for the gamecube. I'd love to see a run of that as well.

I'll be doing SSBM if I have time. I think ice climbers grab TAS combos could be interesting. You can control both, making them do different attacks. This is just a basic grab combo (you can do frame advance in ssbm, but no load/save because it crashes too often, and AVI recording would be troublesome): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yOLnApe5AhM&feature=channel_page Here's a MUCH harder one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ia8jqRyUp9E

Both of the Fire Emblems would do. On SSBM and SSBB, With the classic mode, the amount published would be similar to SSB. The Subspace Emissary on the other hand.... Pokemon Colluseum, and XD, going with the Pokemon fandom.
Renting this space for rent. Trying to fix image on this site. Please cut slack. As of April 6th, 2012: After a long absence, here we go again?

I was thinking of (and keep rambling about) the two Pinball Hall of Fame games, I think they're both on the PS2, but one is on the GCN, and the other is on the Wii. The first one didn't get a Wii release outside of PAL regions. The Wii version of the Williams game may be preferred, though. Anywho, about the game: There are several re-created pinball machines from 70s to early 90s.. or maybe late 80s. The only goal of the TAS is not to just achieve the highest scores possible, because there are goals. Every game has 5(?) table goals, which you must complete (and then start a separate game after they're all finished) to go on to the wizard goals, which are harder goals to accomplish than the table goals. I think what could be done is a TAS to complete all goals, and optionally to max out scores possibly in the challenge mode in the Williams game... I know nothing about the Gottlieb game and I can't say whether or not it has a similar mode.

Now that it's out, Punch-Out!! needs to be TASed, if and when it works on emulators.

Brawl and Melee are on my very short list. Oh, and the GC Pokemon games too.

Soon enough, some elitist will pop in and say how awful Brawl and Melee will be for TASing and how they'd never be publishable. Me, though? I'm really looking forward to 'em. Different people are entertained by different things. I suppose the other obvious choices are the Prime games (mentioned earlier in the thread and 21% is the current lowest possible item count for Prime 1) and Wind Waker (also mentioned, go go moblin slides). I also think Twilight Princess would actually make for an interesting TAS if only to see how creatively LJA can be used. I personally also would like to see Star Fox: Assault TASed; it's the closest thing we've had to Star Fox 64 since, well, Star Fox 64.

Master Quest was a N64 game. You can already TAS it on Mupen.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u__oegr1-JY This is Contra Rebirth (WiiWare game) played on the Dolphin Emulator. So it means that we can TAS some other good Wiiware games too like Mega Man 9 and World of Goo.
