a.k.a. Sonic RPG Is anybody else excited about this? It's about to be released in Europe and shortly thereafter in America and Japan.

We don't even know if the game is capable of being a good TAS yet. But if you mean excited about the actual game itself then yes, I am excited about it.

Not really, no. I loved the series when I was younger, but there isn't much that I loved about it still alive today. I may give it a try later, but the franchise as it stands today is a lot like seeing your childhood hero laying drunk and unwashed in the gutter of some red light district.
Kirby said so, so it must be true. ( >'.')>

Modern Sonic is a bit like watching a drunken platform diver. Sometimes they do something cool, but mostly you just end up wincing.

But seriously, this is a completely different mode of play; I've been waiting for a game like this since Super Mario RPG (though I would also be stoked if a proper sequel for this game came out and featured Sonic in some way).

AHEM. Hey, jaded Sonic Fans! You're either completely ignoring or forgetting (and, either way, it's a crime) about these recent gems, according to GameRankings: Sonic Advance: 83.4% Sonic Advance 2: 85.7% Sonic Advance 3: 80.0% Sonic Rush: 82.8% Sonic Rush Adventure: 80.2% Though I suppose I can't entirely blame you; after all, handheld Sonic games have been either ignored or forgotten since the very beginning.
Why, oh, why do I even try to understand my own species?

I have neither ignored nor forgotten them, and I certainly wish they can finally make a 3D Sonic game with the design qualities of the 2D games.

It was a decent game, not FANTASTIC, but decent. Crappy sound/music and the annoying wlking with the touch screen, which sometimes doesn't react. Good try for Bioware for their first DS RPG. Now to wait for Sonic Chronicles 2.....

I've discovered a glitch that could shorten the Tool-Assisted Speedrun of this game (when a decent DS emulator is created) by a few seconds...and possibly if this could occur elsewhere. After Prefect Charyb was defeated, I moved toward the left and a dialogue scene popped up when it shouldn't have! When I was done, I went outside and another dialogue scene immediately came up. When it was all done, I found myself teleported to Ix's lair. These particular dialogue scenes weren't supposed to appear until a little later. My guess is that the game confused the trigger points for them to appear with the earlier one involving activating the switch.

Yeah, so I was thinking of doing a TAS on this. But my only problem is that when you leave Green Hill Zone, the game freezes right there. Is the problem the emulator, or do I have to have some certain settings and plugins?
