This is a run of Super Metroid of 14%-Route. (Ice Beam route.)
Clear Time - 00:35
I have never seen this kind of movie. So I made it by myself.

Note1

vs.Ridley and vs.Mother Brain needed a lot of times.
So, You can skip these battle-scene. (Use Frame-Skip-Function.)
Here is a 'Playing-Frame' about the end of these long-scenes.
Ridley - In 101000.
Mother Brain - In 170000.

Note2

I already have known about my mistake.
I missed 'Power Bomb(Super Bomb)'s damage to Ridley,about 200damage.'.
So, I shooted him by Ice-Charged-Shot,frequent 4~5times.
But Please excuse me. Re-Record(remake) about this movie is hard to me(IF I remake this one, I must shot Ice-Charged-Shot to Ridley and Mother Brain,100times over correctly,again.(^_^;))

Why the murder-beam glitch is not used?

Because that glitch requires all the beams.

To Mr.Bisqwit

If you think that this one is not entertaining, Please tell me so. (Or delete this post, please.) If you delete this one, I will have no dissatisfaction.(^_^;)

To all

If you have a question, sorry but please write in easy-English.

Bisqwit: Due to votes, encoding.

I watched this earlier, when you posted it in the Super Metroid thread. Very impressive. I like this movie very much.

I like this one, especially since you don't use the "murder beam" glitch on Mother Brain. (the technique you use in the other movie) It surprised me. It amazed me. It made me say "Sugoi!". Voting "Yes".

First,I say thank you for voting 'YES'! >Murder-Beam I'm glad that you felt "Sugoi!". Oh, but "I didn't use murder-beam." is a little mistake. "I couldn't use murder-beam." is right. ("Murder-Beam" needs all of beams.) If you have been known it already, Sorry(^^;) I wonder that you are Japanese...? I was surprised by your comment of "Sugoi!". :to all "Sugoi!" means ... like a "wonderful!, great!, amazing!".

He was commenting they he liked it even more because you didn't use the murder beam. As I said in the other thread, this movie is exactly what I wanted, and I very much enjoyed it.

Sorry about my bad-explanation. Yes, I know his(Mr.Shingen's) meaning. I wanted to say like this. "If I could use murder-beam, perhaps, I used murder-beam, this time." And thank you for your second posts!

I was impressed about this run also. I remember the days where I tried to complete this game for about a week in a row. Good work, Terimakasih! And don't be surprised if people could type in few words in japanese. It's kinda abound in the US and Europe nowadays. I'm in a finnish Anime and Manga society too ^.^' Anata no "supeedorun" (serious sp) wa tanoshikatta desu!

テリマカシはメトロイドが上手だね。 Wow, that Ridley battle took a very long time. Still, this was very exciting! おもろかった!(関西弁^_^) As far as Sendai goes, I recommend "Hei Chin Roh," famous Chinese restaurant. おいしいでも高いよ。

「アニメマニア」知ってる?アメリカもカナダもいる。その奴らは「すごい」とか「かわいい」とか言う書くだが、その奴らは日本人じゃない、日本語知らない、日本の文化も分らない。 Do you know "Anime Mania"? They are in America and Canada as well. They speak and write "Sugoi!" and "Kawaii", but they aren't Japanese, they don't know Japanese, and they don't know Japanese culture. I think that most people here can only speak a few Japanese words. Some of us know a little more, although I don't think anyone here would call themselves "fluent".

Even though this video is very well played, and has some nice tricks, I'm not sure. The long repetitious fights against Ridley and Mother Brain are just... very very boring. I think I will refrain from voting on this one. Everyone who has voted so far seemed to have liked it though. There seems to be a slight inflation in Metroid runs lately...

This is an perfect example on whether we users should vote on games like these. Here we have a game, done very good etc and takes only 14% item, but still even that Truncated (I totally respect your opinion) feels the author of this game perhaps made an smal error: "The long repetitious fights against Ridley and Mother Brain are just... very very boring". Now I wonder those who voted yes on this submission were objective or not. I still have not received a good explanation on whether this site prioritize more on "entertainment" or "obsoleting and making improvements" on current published games.

For technical reasons (bandwidth etc}, I like improvements over new movies, but other than that, I don't have a set preference. Virtually, I hope to keep the density of entertainment at the site as high as possible (under the given topic -- game movies}, but that is a very vague goal.

Personally I love submissions who obsoletes older published submissions. With or without how sloppy, floppy, silly the author uses kicks, shots etc, as long as it obsoletes a older movie by more than about 30 seconds, (assuming that the new submission is sloppy etc). But if its sloppy and it obsoletes the older version by only 2-3 seconds then you can raise the question whether if its correct for it to be published (according to my opinion).

Ridley and Motherbrain was slow yes. But the rest of the movie sure was entertaining. Are there a better way to complete a 14% run, then by all means show us.

Brilliantly played. Some excellent tricks and techniques used (especially turning the gravity suit on and off in maridia in order to get around in some of the larger rooms) I didn't think it was even possible to beat the game with that few of missles and super missles but this submission certainly proves that wrong :)

If you think so, please vote 'NO'.(^^;) It is OK. But, please remember these sentences. 1:I can improve battle-with-Ridley,but only few seconds. 2:I can improve battle-with-MotherBrain, but only 1-shot(HyperBeam). Totally, maybe I can't reach ClearTime 00:34 or more better-time. If you have understood these sentences already,I have no opinion.

I wonder that you don't vote 'NO', why...? Totally , your comments means "This movie should not be published.", doesn't it? : finally, what kind of movies which I can submit this site...? (Sorry, but I could'nt understand about Mr.Bisqwit's opinions(sentences).) (Edit) >(Sorry, but I could'nt understand about Mr.Bisqwit's opinions(sentences).)
