Which emulator? It runs fine with PCSX.
You're just fucking stupid, everyone hates you, sorry to tell you the truth. no one likes you, you're someone pretentious and TASes only to be on speed game, but don't have any hope, you won't get there.

Another vote for Einhänder, which would certainly be better than the R-Type TASes we have at the moment. An Einhänder run should try to get as many kills as possible while getting all of the special bonuses. Should it also get the secret weapons? On the one hand, it'd be amusing to show the Ptyhon [sic] to viewers, but on the other hand, it'd take up a gun slot... Speaking of R-Type, there's R-Type Delta for the PSX, right? Never played it myself. The Playstation was also the first console to get DDR games. >.> Alundra would be a long TAS, and I'm not certain that its puzzle-centric gameplay would be particularly interesting. For people who haven't played, imagine 2D Zelda with every dungeon being the equivalent of the Water Temple from Ocarina of Time. It's a great game, but it's not remotely short.

Castlevania: SOTN luck mode with the keeping the alucard equipment glitch. It'd be a hell of a fast run!

This is nearly my full wishlist for ps one SotN is obvious, do want. And definitely Tobal no.2 Quest mode. Luck can be manipulated so much... I still can't progress very far on that game, it's too hard. If only we could go into the dungeon and then exit to rest and lvl up... Other games I'd like to see are racing ones like Rally Cross, Jet moto (1 and 2) and Ridge Racer Revolution white car run. I'd rather see Tenchu 1 than Tenchu 2. It would be cool to see bushido blade 2's 100 man mode done as fast as possible. Courier Crises can go very wild in speed and stunts! Yeah that one would be nice. Destruction derby 2 on that suicide mode where all other racers just want to kill you on an arena. There can be a long time survival :) Driver 2 Felony 11-79 can also be good Final Fantasy Tactics!!! i_i Metal Gear Solid so I don't have to play it again Monster Rancher because of luck manipulation Nightmare Creatures Silhouette Mirage Dr. Slump Tekken 3 tekken force mode Vandal Hearts! Not much manipulation as FFT, but still very interested on this one.

Final Fantasy 7 would be interesting also. With crazy Luck Manipulation, sure. Crash Bandicoot series also. My favorite version is the first.

Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 since this is the system I played it on. Goals: min time to 100% or maximum completion possible in one run. I have a belief that some of the later levels are impossible to 100% in one run. It would be awesome if that was proven false.

I'd personally like to see... -Rayman (Much better quality than the GBA version, and I still have trouble finding a working rom or the real CD) -Tomba! -Final Fantasy 8 -IQ (already mentioned a couple of times) -Crash Bandicoot (or any of its sequels) -Tiny Tank - Up Your Arsenal

Silent Hill. It would be cool to see if there are any sequence breaks in it. EinHander could be cool. Especially if some of the weapons were used in unique ways. Like discharging a full Spreader right in the face of something or using the hard to use weapons Python or the directed missiles.

I would definitely like to see: - Any of the Resident Evil games - Brave Fencer Musashi - Any of the Spyro and Crash games - Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain - Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver - Castlevania: SOTN - Legend of Mana (even though I ended up not really liking it, I think it might make a good 2P TAS) Maybe: - FF8. Though it would somewhat hurt to not really see some of the story, there's no need to level up. And you could probably beat the game by playing cards or something. - Metal Gear Solid - Tekken 3 (though I wouldn't want to see Eddie Gordo Cherry Pick his way to victory) Probably should avoid: - Xenogears (even though this game rules) - Either Lunar (also rules) - Breath of Fire III (a great game but very slow moving)

that would be the longest tas ever. at least 8h. ff7 would be almost as long though... at least 7h.

Can't you skip most of the story though? Maybe I'm thinking of X...

If the emulator gets good enough and I have enough time, I'd do it. I have all the materials needed to do a very fast run (Dragon Storyline is the fastest by far). I've gotten the console version done under 1:50. TAS might be able to push 1:45, but you can't get the Mana Goddess fight much faster then what I did it at. I'd give out my time for her, but that's a secret until the run gets published. ^_~

On second thought... It might not make a really good TAS, other than manipulating for fun. I don't think you can skip cutscenes, and the game itself is split into four discs, meaning four different movie files. I just want to see it TAS'd; I was one of the freaks who actually liked FF8.

I agree with this, I liked 8's storyline a bit better than 7's. Never have played 9 though.

So I take it that the psx emulator is in full effect or not fully yet?
